Please explain the balance between accepting losses early and letting trade run to hopefully minimise that loss. Surely it is too simplistic to state hang in and the loss will be reduced. Explain the balance and risk reward of each path. Many thanks.

Hi Ben, I can not understand how you calculate ROI 60% and ROR 104% on the example... Because ROR 26/42 = 61,9% and ROI 26/100 = 26% Am I wrong? Thanks in advance for your help

One thing ive noticed looking at some matches and trading some is if the match favourite is losing they seem to get frustrated alot more and end up being good to lay as start losing crucial points and then have chance to back them again at higher price
@SportsTradingLife3 жыл бұрын
Interesting thought there. I can imagine they are aware they are the favourite and it can be easier to get annoyed if you are not performing as expected. Good spot, worth looking out for more.

I think you may have confused rather than enlightened a few people with the double edge sword approach to risk. I always like to label my risk as 25%. mines a scotch egg or a good old fashioned pork pie with Colemans. Good job!!!

BTW, I looked at the NBA, and the price goes up and down like tennis. Liquidity is about 100k.

what do you think about dutching the sets ,looking at the odds you need only to pick 2 to earn 60% profit, sure the liquidity is low but maybe its not bad plan
@SportsTradingLife3 жыл бұрын
The set winner market? You usually end up with the same price as if you were to just back the player in match odds.
@DimmackFan3 жыл бұрын
i meant like the amount of set the game end like 2-0 and 2-1 the odds look good. we just use same tactic what you did teach in football dutch.The Bad news is in some cases there is small liquidity

hello how many trades are you winning by % your strategies are profitable ok but have you a balance ?? or not ?
@tomjones99343 жыл бұрын
Today's lesson, don't trade on matches with very low liquidity (Barcelona today). You can back trade but there is no escape without losing money even if you are winning.
@SportsTradingLife3 жыл бұрын
Stick to WTA and ATP matches and you won't have problems with liquidity.

Keep up the good work 👍

Think you should of traded out as soon as rublev broke in the first game. Dont want to be in a trade longer than 10 minutes or else it becomes a bet. Tut tut
@SportsTradingLife3 жыл бұрын
It only becomes a bet if I leave it till the end. In this case there was plenty of time for my position to improve. Accepting losses early in tennis can be costly.
