My son was this way. Sometimes I had to leave him in his crib for fifteen minutes so that I could go scream in my room and get all my pent up frustration and anxiety out. It is SO hard to be a parent of an infant who cries ALL DAY AND NIGHT LONG. He is absolutely amazing now, but I can't look at newborns without feeling a little sick to my stomach.

Being a new parent to a crying screaming sleepless baby is the hardest thing in the world because you just don’t know what to do after you have already tried everything! Our first son was a screamer for the first 4 months, then my husband went out of town for weeks on end and I was alone with my baby and the cat who couldn’t get any sleep either. Finally I packed our bags and my parents came up and got us to take home to mother. Finally I had enough and on the verge of jumping off a bridge I took him to my brother’s good friend who is a chiropractor. After about 2 minutes of neck repositioning my son fell asleep! I would take him in to see my new chiropractic hero 3 times a week for a month and that helped all of us. We were finally getting more than 20 minute naps all night long and even the cat was getting a good rest. It really helps to get that kink out of their little necks.

I was babysitting when I was eight, an aunt when I was twelve who took care of my newborn niece during graveyard shifts, lived with my brothers' family for a summer when I was thirteen to care for my 3-6 month old nephew, then had my own five children within 8 years without ever losing my ability to have compassion and comfort for these little ones.

I was a nanny for a year and the baby cried constantly. He was absolutely inconsolable all day long. Your advice for putting the baby down for a few minutes (in safe place like his crib or somewhere) and walking away is a GOLD. That saved my sanity. I literally walked into the other room and cried, screamed, and sometimes called a friend to calm me down. It was summer time and they had no AC so the windows were open. I was quite sure someone was going to call CPS on me. It was horrid. The parents begged me not to quit and I didn't but I hope he felt better after that.

I was a 15 year old, whose neighbors asked me to watch their baby while mom went back to work. They wanted me to do this for the summer. This boy baby had colic super bad. Never stopped crying. After doing this for one week, I told them no more. As a 51 year old mother today, I still remember it! The little guy's name was Jonathan. So, they basically got burnt out and dumped him on a teenager- great start there!

My son was like this. The situation was so bad, we had a neighbor repeatedly come to our apartment at the time and ask us to quiet our son....when I say it was bad, I mean it...lol. Anyway, I only lost my control once....via throwing a bottle of baby powder across the room in frantic desperate exhausted angry frustrated loss of self control. I never hurt my son and couldn't imagine doing so, but if you've gone through this, it's SCARY! You soon discover your vulnerability as a person, as a parent, as a caregiver, etc.

That mom is really struggling to help the baby, but I did not see the whole process has helped that poor little baby a bit. Why is this video ending half way through, they could have concluded on what helped this baby, is that a doctor diagnoses, or a different technique to ease him. There were many more other positions that could be tried on crying baby. I wish I could see what went wrong with the baby, and what helped him out of that pain. Love and prayers for the family... God bless you little one

Because there was probably nothing he could do and no solution. Like he says, sometimes it's just colic and a phase the baby goes through. He told her she should try another brand of formula but even if it's better it can take weeks before things improve.

He basically said it was probably a phase. Just like with my son. He was inconsolable like this baby and after trying EVERYTHING to help him I basically had to realize that it was something he would eventually grow out of, and he did. But man, was it brutal for three months.

My baby cried often in the first few weeks. I would ask my husband to drive the car while I sit with the baby at the back. My child would stop crying after some time and get immersed with the motion and music. We drive in the evening, so the lights are attractive to her.😁

It’s so hard when your baby cry’s like this. You’ve done everything you know to do but nothing is helping the baby😒 Whether you’re a professional or a parent sometimes it’s just a guessing game. Best thing to do is check off the list everything you’ve done and keep going to the next thing until you either find the culprit or the problem fixes itself. My heart goes out to the parents that are at their boiling point, I’ve been there! Thank you Dr Paul for trying to help this baby and mama♥️

I just went through this with my son! It started off with just fussing in the evenings, then a bit in the afternoon, to all day long from the moment he woke till he fell asleep. People were like oh you've got a fussy baby, or he's got colics. No. my baby was in PAIN. He was arching his back all day long because he had severe silent reflux. We had to get him on a thickener. He also had a dairy allergy!!! Now whenever I hear people say their baby is inconsolable crying all day long, my first thought is intolerance or allergy. My son is now being referred to an allergist. But the moment we switched to a hydrolysed formula and introduced a thickener (locust bean gum) completely different baby, night and day difference. Hugs to that mama. It is tough. All I could do was hold my son and cry with him because he was in so much pain and I didn't know what to do to fix things until he ended up breaking out in hives and we went to the emergency.

Sometimes the birth is more traumatic for certain babies. The neck can be pulled or jarred and a baby osteopath is good to relieve this pressure which can also cause colic type situations.

There’s a chance that she would have (and still might) benefit from manual osteopathy treatments. Arching can be dural tension (which causes headache-like pain) from birthing trauma (not even necessarily a severe trauma). Very likely a compression between C0/C1 impacting her head rotation and dura. I hope she got the help she needed, but for other parents seek out manual osteopathy or a paediatric chiropractor.

Bless you mom, dad and Dr. Paul. Usually, after 2 months , it becomes better. Parents even forget it all afterwords. Heard of acholic baby's and parents take turns, put them on baby swings, these moving baby chairs , turn on vaciums, have them on top washing machines fir the movement of it (holding on to the baby for safety of course) parents palm of hand ✋ rubbing softly on their tummy, thumb on forhead between eyebrows until baby falls asleep...mom has to relax and take time out for her sanity so baby feels mom at good state (they know hein) I mean: - I hear all these stories with great interest on family living, like hearing Dr. Paul. God bless you, again. I live knowing adults with special needs and they are as your baby mom. Too me they are babies. 🥰🥰🥰

I feel for this mom. My son was just like that and at his 2 week check up the intern Dr that saw me said I wasnt feeding him enough and that was why he was crying all the time. My son was eating all thw time and I was burning , rocking and joucing him all the time so that Dr's comment hurt. When I saw my Dr again I told him what happened and he sas very upset. We changed my son to sit formula and it helped some but didn't cure all the crying. Good luck mom.
