Barrel dragon definitely needs a link monster and more extra deck monsters like a new Gatling dragon

I love the deck, but I would also play at least 1 copy of Cracking Dragon, just for the level 8 3000 ATK beatstick. Plus it’s a dark machine-type, so it would fit the theme of the deck.

I wish they made more Bandit Keith cards. Him and Kaiba were my favorite characters in the show, but after Season 1 he just disappeared. I think they should make more Bandit archtype cards that work with the deck, like maybe Pillager, or retrained 7 Completed cards you can hide in your wristband. Haha. But honestly there's just not enough support for his torture/gun machines. They could also retrain Machine King (again), Mechanicalchaser, Pendulum Machine, Metalmorph (again), Metalzoa (make it a fusion ffs), and I could go on. Maybe put him in some of the artwork too, because why not? We need more fanservice. Some Bandit Keith+Barrel Dragon tokens too.

Snatch Steal is probably Pillager, but they could have made an actual Bandit Keith version that lets you steal opponent's cards once per turn. Also, Slot Machine could have the biggest retrain of all time, or maybe just amazing support in general. I love when Konami just makes the original cards not only viable, but necessary to the strategy, kindz like what they did for Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes, and Dark Magicians. Here Barrel Dragon and the like aren't really good or needed and the few newer cards are actually better in decks like Kozmo. That's a fail in my book.

Decent main deck, but I would switch out some extra deck choices. I would ditch Underclock for Qliphort Genius, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon, or possibly Beavy Armored Train Ironwolf for the direct damage press. Ironwolf can also switch for Gear Gigant, too.

Would you ever consider running keeper of dragon magic in this deck? He could search out and special summon OG Barrel pretty easily so you could more reliably have him at 1. and just get the poly to your hand as well

You should consider running Fusion Deployment to tutor out Barrel Dragon or Blowback respectfully, and also throw in some Super Polymerization and Overload Fusions to get to Gatling Dragon faster as well. 🔥💯

Make exodia /necoface / spirit boad deck by dumping the message into the grave and then use the new spell cards and return it back to the deck and draw the cards . Would use hand destruction . Allure of darkness . And the new curse necoface could return the banish fiend cards back to the hand . Also use trade in . Upstart . Metifols fusion . For draw power

Me too. Incredibly good. I don't use the og barrel dragon or blowback they are very bricky instead I focus on resolving summons of either desperado going second or wisel going first. I use the gimmick puppet des troy, as an alternative starter that doesn't require cards on the field like blast spider, also he is easily set up by the gimmick puppet link and can bring out more copies of itself from the hand if needed. I also don't play any field spells since I don't rely on summoning the og barrel dragon, instead I run orcust crescendo to send with foolish burial goods, which massively boosts consistency since you already play it for Proton blast and I play more defensive traps, like lost wind and solemns

I'm trying a Barrel Dragon Deck with a mini Orcust Engine... not liking it, i just end up playing Orcust instead lol Also, Overload fusion instead of poly, that i'd say its ok so far

Mine's a lot more monster heavy. I run 3 fusilier dragons and 3 genex ally crushers, with a double summon just in case. There's so much synergy without taking ten minute turns.
