I love the corner tank 😍. I would love to start one of my own, but I have no experience with brackish water, I only have experience with freshwater aquariums. Your video just made me want one even more.

@@Aquarium_Fantasy-HF it’s not as hard as it may seem! Besides the addition of marine salt, depending on stocking and species keeping a brackish tank is no different from a freshwater system, stay tuned on some videos soon to come 👍🏻 I will dive deeper into the subject.

Nice tanks! Keeping discus for 30 years on and off. Yep, discus are very suseptible to parasites. What works for me is - wen i get new discus, I feed medicated food i make my self to remove anything parasitic on the fish for 4 weeks. Also, to keep healthy discus in a planted tank is on art by itself, I would not do it. Would you try a discus again?

Thank you! I broke the golden rule of QT all of the stock going in after the discus. That being said I should have QT the discus as well. I think I’ll try again at some time later and maybe with a deeper wallet 😂It was very rewarding for the year I had them with spawning and all. You can see a few shorts I’ve made of that and it’s truly a magical thing!

@@bbaquatics2051 Oh yes, discus is amazing wen breeding, so special to watch how parents feed the babies! And they are quite a smart fish, recognizing the owner - come to greed me every morning, watching videos with me 🤣 There is a pretty good site, I lately buy from all my discus, much better prise and super quality specialy if you OK with growing them out yourself- Myrtle beach discus. Just in case you go for discus again 😂

Is that a fluval 30 on the ghost shrimp tank? if so how do you keep your floaters from not being sucked up. I threw filter sponge that I cut in the middle and slipped over the intake. Still no luck.

@@rwvisuals yes, a fluval 30! And honestly I have no idea! Sometimes they get sucked up but I just clean off the intake when they do get stuck to it but usually I have no issues with it.

@@bbaquatics2051 I've kept some airline around the intake on suction cups as well. Temporarily it sort of holds but once water levels dropped I've got problem lol. Most of my duckweed dies besides the portion I have in my breeder box.

@@bbaquatics2051 Most likely it's just the size of plants plus the length of your stems creating a barrier i'd think! sweet walk through by the way.

What did you use to secure your monstera plant in your aquarium??

The two individual plants are propped up on driftwood at the base of the plants at the root systems 👍🏻 carefully haha

Question -- when you got the mangrove trees, how big are they to start?

Really just depends where you’re getting them, some are single propagules that had just sprouted a leaf or two, some are taller and have multiple sets of leaves and a more established root system 👍🏻
