Reception was absolutely the worst part. I Laughed when you said you didn’t want to be the first on the bus, I was the first on the bus and the last to come off for the shark attack it sucked! My last name is carter too lol I went to basic in April. Happy I did it though.

Whats The Hardest Part Army Basic Training I Went Two Weeks Of Air Force Basic Training I Kinda Know How The Atmosphere Going To Be
@MrCarter855 жыл бұрын
Basic was more of a mental challenge for me. The biggest part was understanding that not everything is going to go your way. You will be surrounded by people from all parts of the world. Some will want to be there and some won’t. Ultimately, it is up to you to be the best you can be while in training. Don’t let the actions of others dictate your performance. Understand that you can only control what you can control and you will do fine!

Great Video! My fellow OCS applicants and I are always trying to figure out how to find the most research on branch selections. The OML process is understood but looking for more info on the Branch fair. Do you guys get to “shadow” the branches or actually get a day in the field/office with the various branding options? There is only so much available online. My OCS board is next month. Thanks!
@MrCarter855 жыл бұрын
You will have an opportunity to attend a branch fair a couple weeks before your branch ceremony. That’s really the only time you will get more in-depth details about the branches. Good luck on your interview!

I had some questions in regards to OCS. TIA! 1. When do you get the graduation date for OCS while attending? 2. Are you able to get leave or Hometown Recruiting after OCS? 3. Do you leave OCS the day after graduation?
@MrCarter855 жыл бұрын
You find out day 1 whenever graduation is. You are able to get HRAP only if you finish in the top 20%. Anyone can take ordinary leave though after ocs. Yes you will leave right after ocs, either you take leave or you will pcs/ptdy to your next duty station for bolc.
