If you purchased a membership to the Topps stadium club, back in the 90's, you were able to buy entire stadium club basketball card sets. The 93-94 set came with the beam team sub-set cards with the gold "members only" logo on the front of each card. Plenty out there and easily purchased. Nice collection and carrying cases!

Hello, thank you so much for watching the video. Yes you are correct with the 93-94 Jordan “Members Only” base card with the gold foil stamp and yes definitely plenty out there. But what I have is the Jordan Beam Team Members only Gold Foil, those sets are not suppose to have the gold foil on them, they are rare. If you google “error 93-94 Jordan Beam Team Gold Foil” it will go into details about them. Thanks. PS: lol if you happen to see one let me know but I am pretty sure you won’t find one.

Sweet collection!!! Have you ever had an issue with the magnetics sticking to the surface of the card? I've had issues with recessed screwdowns and wondering if mags are ok? thanks

Matt Hoffman yea definitely screwdowns are a big no no to any type of card collections. I never had any issue with one-touch mags, but someone just suggested to put cards in a penny sleeve along with the one-touch which actually is not a bad idea to prevent card sticking. The penny sleeve needs to be cut to size to make it fit right though. I definitely put all of my high value card in a one-touch if they are not graded. Hope that helps. Good luck bro.

@@Howie1383 Thanks man! I haven't had any issues recently with one-touch mags either. I think the biggest thing is to make sure the card doesn't stick out of the recessed area and to have some movement in the case. I would try the soft sleeve this may work out as well. but I think anything touching an auto isn't really a good idea. Where did you get those great boxes? They look really sweet!

howie1383, nice vid, nic collections. question on your 1st case with all the one touch, can you fit 5 colums with just the one touch. cause i know with the graded cards you can only fit 4 colums. thanks

Hey Brian, Sorry about the late response and I appreciate the nice comment. With the one touch, it's the same, I can only fit 4 columns appropriately. The extra column, I place the cards the opposite way (perpendicular) so it faces the other cards or you can place your extra large cards in that column. hope that helps.

Jack Cooley nah they are not firesafe or waterproof. I have my high ends in a fire/watersafe safe.. But they are nice way to display your PC. Since I made this video 5 years ago...of course my PC increase. Have 3 cases now...probably needing a 4th lol.

Like on eBay I bought un opened packs that the year are 1992 but then I got a lot with baseball cards already opened. I would think u would have better luck with un opened packs

Me personally I don't have much luck with unopened cards. If you do get unopened cards, get the Beckett Value guide to make sure the year or sets you are getting have some good cards in it. I try to stay away from the early 90's cause of the basketball card companies were to over saturated with cards and over produce which devalued the cards.

Thank you for watching and sorry for the late respond. I collected all of my cards through online purchase and my local hobby shop. It was a trial and error when I first started collecting, I really didn't know what was good or bad cards, so I wasted a lot of money. Yes this can be a very expensive hobby, that's why I only started collecting Kobe, Jordan, and Lebron cards. And even just those 3 can be very expensive.

Shane Ricketts there are tons of basketball groups on FB that you can join. You can even win them called Razzing for cheap and some already graded. When I first started I got majority of my cards thru Ebay. You just have to really look at the picture for card quality and ask the seller questions and more detailed pictures of the card you are interested in. Hope that helps.

Howie1383 that’s what I’ve been doing for the past year is buying my cards on eBay.And just really paying attention to the card as much as possible.i just got back ten I had graded and did pretty good,6 of them were 10 and the rest are 9 and 2 8’s.There is a local shop I go to now and once a month I’ll drop around 200 dollars got some nice cards.Just wanted some advice...thanks man cheers..

I wouldn't keep my nice expensive cards in a card board box. If you treasure your cards, I definitely recommend it with 110%. It's very nice and sturdy. I have 2 of them now and about to order a 3rd when my cards comes back from BGS.

Happy New Year and thank you for watching. I was lucky enough to start our collection about 8 years ago when cards was not as popular and was cheaper to buy. Now most of the cards in the video are too expensive to get now. But start looking at potential current NBA rookies now that you think will do good in future and hold on to them. Cards definitely have gain popularity and prices are crazy high. Hope that helps.

To answer your original question...No Authentic Jordan RC cArd is not made in Taiwan. “Made in Taiwan” that you see is not on the actual card lol. I don’t know if you notice but the card is in a BGS slab and on top of that there is a clear bag. It’s on the clear bag lol.

When I buy cards, I like to buy them raw, meaning not graded. Cause if you buy them graded and its high grade, they tend to fetch at a higher price. Yes its an expensive hobby, that's why I only stick to certain players like Kobe or Jordan. I really study and look at the cards for their condition before I bid or buy them. I like to hold the card and enjoy them before I send it off to BGS or PSA. I pick and choose which cards I send off to get graded. Hope that helps.
