My struggles with acne is at another level. It's been 8years. I've done everything I can & I try for like 3 months but no change. It has really lowered my self esteem & I always hope not to come across mirrors anywhere because it'll remind me how ugly I am. & The hardest part is handling people's mean comments and worse when it comes from close folks like family. I feel ugly. Whoever said outer glow is inner peace was absolutely true & so is vice versa. I've even tried to put my face on top of fire Hoping the pimples burn. I've scrabed myself with ile mawe ya kuoga but nothing. I've tried lots of products even imported but none worked. I tried traditional ways but nothing. I've tried drinking water 3 litres a day but nothing. I hate being in public coz I feel ugly. Let's not talk about family functions coz I always look for an excuse. The worst comment I ever got was from my father who told me I have pimples coz of madawa za family planning. Mind you I've never been on any family planning in my life. I'm at a point I'm just alive & I hope someday things will change. There are days I look at myself in the mirror and just cry. Having acne has made me even kujiachilia generally coz I feel if what people see first when we meet isn't impressive then what for good clothes. I also don't use any make up coz it's just fake confidence. I can go for months without make up. Acne can really be deepressing but only those who have had it or have it can understand. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL💔😭. I thought I should talk about it so other people know they're not alone. To anyone struggling with acne, YOU'RE NOT ALONE

So sorry. Do you know your skin type? I used to have acne issues but solve it completely it has been now over one decade. My first significant results began when I started to understand my skin type to be oily and combination I used to use products ment for people with dry skin so when I realised my skin type I shift to products suitable for my skin type. I also adopted a consistent skin routine involving cleansing with a deep cleanser followed by toning with a non alcoholic toner then apply serum followed by a light moisturiser for night but during the day I usually add a sunscreen

Watching this, I can relate very well with people who've had Acne which is prone to people who have oily skin type mostly. Acne is a condition just like Psoriasis or Eczema, reason why I say I can relate is because I have fought Eczema for the longest time having a dry skin, and just like Azziad says know your skin type, the condition, then find the solution that works for you. Most important be confident in your skin.

Isotreitonoin is only available via a dermatologist recommendation. It's not an over the counter medication because of the sife effects. It's also important to know how many milligrams you are taking since if you don't take enough it might come back. The medication also requires you to be on a two type of contraceptive if you are a female.

Eeeeh! Acne treatment is just something else. It's very expensive and requires a lot of patience. I have been on this treatment since last year June. Finishing my treatment next month, I can't wait 🙊 initially was using isotroin but from this year May after changing the derma I was put on Roaccutane (I was told it's the original isotroin, 1 capsule costs 210🤣).. I was being treated hormonal, genetic and bacterial acne and some allergies(animal proteins).. The side effects from all the meds I have been taking have been crazy.. If you are suffering from mild to severe acne, seek medical assistance. Only use products that are medically prescribed. Soap, cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreen, lipbalms etc
