Thank you so much for talking about this - I feel like OCD in the form of intrusive thoughts is NEVER spoken about. My sister and I both suffer from it in different forms and thought we were crazy and felt so alone. You guys are amazing and remind me so much of my sister and I’s relationship! ❤️

I really loved this episode. I feel like no one really talks about OCD and everyone just says it’s being tidy but it’s a lot more than that. I hope you’re doing okay now Mandy and thank you both so much for talking about this!

I took medication for OCD and it changed my life. From the sounds of your other episodes your relationships are affected by OCD and obsessive thinking and lack of emotional regulation… If you have a lack of iron, you take an iron supplement. If you have a lack of serotonin it causes OCD and there’s no shame in taking a tablet to help you along…

I have had OCD for as long as I can remember, and freaked out when I started to get intrusive thoughts, during lockdown. I have since been on medication and feel so much better, able to regulate and control.

I literally started balling when you started crying Mandi, and saying you are opening up to help others, and that things do get better. I been struggling with my mental health for nearly 5 years now and despite all the battles and struggles, I have still not given up hope & I know I will be better one day! every small step is a step and I always remind myself of that bigger picture and journey I am on ... thank you for sharing Mandi! The last video I posted on YT is actually also about my mental health and weed... a lot has changed since then lol but have a look if you want. Also so weird I feel bare relatable to you, I'm Iranian, I'm also so strong and humorous on the outside but so deep and sensitive on the inside... and I write poetry too lol. Love you bothhhh!!

Thank you so much. I have had Pure O (Intrusive thoughts OCD) since I was 16 also. I’m now 24 and I’m still battling it, for the first 4 years I couldn’t go even 5 minutes without a single horrific thought, it crippled me. I’d wonder how many years I could go on in this way. Now after therapy I am happy, have the most understanding partner in the world and it is manageable. I go a few weeks sometimes without suffering but it comes in waves. Thank you so much for putting this out there, it is such an unspoken illness and it’s comforting to know you aren’t the only one

My cousin was sectioned after abusing weed for a long time. He's honestly never been the same. People dismiss it as a Class B dr_g but it can have negative effects depending on your brain chemistry. Not enough people know this.

Literally I have been through hell in my life , I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but I’ve ever understood why I have the thoughts that I think on a daily basis. After how I saw my father for the last time, the intrusive thoughts I have are daily and I thought maybe I’m just weird,I’d just brush it off. But now I understand , I’m weird. You two’s personalities are exactly the same as mine and my sisters but she has no idea I think like this 💔. After listening to this I need to speak to my sister , thank you … also if there is light or sound I’m the same as Mandy thank you ❤

Love this podcast ❤ boy I'm emotional whenever one of you cry I'm crying too 😅 sending love and positive vibes ❤ also to add on your last comment about men and mentle health and what Andrew tate says he says it harshly don't agree with everythibg he says but I understand a part of what he's saying I love when a man can open up to you emotionally in a relationship 100% but I've also seen men be too sensitive too emotional too depressed where it takes over everything and it's not attractive when you look to your man as an alpha and he's more emotional then you and does nothing about making changes, there should deffo be a balance with everything I think x ❤

❤️❤️❤️ I admire/rate you so much for speaking about this. It’s not easy to open up and discuss personal info so openly. I have a question: Does anyone know the following: If you pay for a private therapist e.g. not via the nhs, for example cbt/exposure & response therapy but you don’t take any medication. Does it still go on your medical record that you had therapy for ocd?

i love you guys but i think you’ve misunderstood andrew tates message. if anything he helps men overcome their depression by helping them realise that the first world problems that we suffer with ARENT real problems! when you compare it to people who are suffering in wars and famine, our problems are incomparable. :) he pushes men to OVERCOME their emotions and do something with their lives. sometimes by not acknowledging a feeling or thought, it becomes non existent. anyways, love ur podcasts xxx

Aww Mandi @17:45 … LOVE YOU ❤❤❤! You do have a big heart and you’re absolutely HILARIOUS but I honestly agree the natural way is the best way because you have to do the work either way if you’re in meds or not! You both are amazing ❤❤❤❤

Cannabis can have a really bad reaction on some people and yes the cannabis these days are too strong and it’s messing with people’s anxiety. The natural stuff doesn’t do this but they’ve genetically engineered it to be stupid … and yes your boyfriend is right alcohol is the worst drug out there … it’s just not taboo as others. Alcohol is worse over the long term then cannabis … they’re both really bad! Alcohol impacts your mental health severely it’s a depressant …but I’ve done both and I’m not judging at all 😅 … everything in moderation perhaps
