That's a great little set up you got there. Inteligently thought out great ideas. I like the remote, I don't know about that Hollyland device, you say the app is crap, and I believe you, that screen certainly is small on the cam, and to be able to use your smart phone as a graphical user interface is the way to go... it's just that Hollyland thing 😀. Looks good. I just purchased a RXO II the other day. I'm still getting used to it. I like the 24 mm frame size I also like the form factor it's so tiny. I am currently using it as a webcam. I have also taken pictures and a couple of videos. I really like your setup and the way you accessorised your camera.

Amazing work . would love to see some of the video you have captured and your best work with this camera . do you think it would work well as a POV camera for working on cars and in low light ? I just bought a go pro hero 12 .do you think it would be better than than the go pro

Thank you for your comment….I think it’s way better than a GoPro, minus stabilization……low light, it’s just a 1 inch sensor, not a beast in low light but a lot better than all the action cameras today. Build like a tank, tons of menu customization. And cute, also. I have a strange feeling of pleasure and happiness when I look at it, so tiny and so well made and designed. You’ll love it for sure. The app is the worst part of this whole wonderful experience but I have a solution to overcome this with the Hollyland wireless solution. Take care

The wired one, yes, is just a remote but with the Hollyland Mars 300 PRO , it connects to your iPhone, iPad and it works in all resolutions

Cool setup. This camera was recommended to me by B&H for airshow recording over my Hero 10. I'm bummed it has a micro USB port instead of USB C. Have you had any overheating issues when recording long duration in warmer spaces?

Never had any overheating issues but maybe it’s because of the cage or something else ? I don’t know….but you shouldn’t be worried about that. It’s not like my Hero 10 which is getting hot only playing with the menu, settings.

@@EugenBrinzoiu my hero 10 overheats if I look at it the wrong way. 😅 I custom Jerry rigged some active cooling for it so I could record 4 hours straight in 85 degree F weather.

It’s a Mirfak N2 but any microphone will work if it’s about the same size…..you need a small one because it’ll be in your frame

@@stelluspereira I really don’t know this Shure microphone…it doesn’t have a cold shoe….just a 3.5mm mic jack….any microphone will work, powered or not
