I make it a point to always take a photo soon after I arrive at my destination, of just about anything that presents itself. That first photo not only gets me in the mood, it forces me to double-check all my camera and lens settings, like ISO and RAW vs. JPEG mode. Carefully checking that first photo helps prevent me from making the same mistake with every photo I take.

My phone picks up small details easy so close up photos (like really really close) turn out amazing but far away photos look blurry so I hope to sell some photos to get a camera and I think these tips might really help so thank you

I have a general question not related to this video. Is 2:1 macro on APS equivalent to 3:1 on full frame? I ask this because we enlarge our image for viewing (print or monitor) by 1.5x more with APS than for full frame. Or, if considering a 24Mp sensor on APS vs full-frame, the APS pixels are smaller. The macro definition is about the image size vs reality on the sensor, regardless of sensor size, right?
@MicaelWidell
@MicaelWidell 4 жыл бұрын
You got it right. Since the aps-c sensor is smaller, you can view it as a “crop” of a full frame sensor. So at the same magnification you will have a more “zoomed in” image on a smaller sensor.

@MicaelWidell
@MicaelWidell 4 жыл бұрын
Finns många andra bra reviews av detta objektiv. Jag finner det inte tillräckligt intressant för att göra en recension. Om du klarar dig på 1x förstoring och verkligen måste ha autofokus är det nog ett bra köp.

Yeah it is the Laowa 60mm which is made for smaller sensors. So some vignetting. But I like the aesthetic of vignetting so I don’t mind :)
@tkermi

@@MicaelWidell Yes, I have actually learned/saw the aesthetic benefits of vignetting from your videos. I only mentioned it because I know you like to use it quite often 😊.

got some nice fungi shots a few days ago with laowa 15mm macro,though I really should have diffused the flash(I'm currently looking at the cheaper versions of the venus twin macro flash.): www.deviantart.com/paddyola/art/mosslane-856488424

@@MicaelWidell thanks michael. it is a challenging lens in the 1:1 fashion, however I'm happy getting reasonably close and cropping in post with the a7r2. I've also got good results with the sony standard 50mm 1.8 FE with a couple of extension tubes.
