My Best Friend tries Diamond Painting for 1st Time - Chatting & Unboxing Christmas Keychain/Ornament

Hi Everyone, we have a really fun holiday video today! My best friend wanted to try diamond painting so I decided to capture the experience on camera for your (and our) entertainment purposes.

If you use mod podge glossy or super glossy is what doesn't dull the drills. I love that you 2 are doing it together, I need more crafty friends.

I am new to diamond painting. So, I am doing 30X40 sized pieces and little coasters and book marks in between the “larger” projects. I am only doing round drills now.

I am a new subscriber from Canada, new to diamond painting as well. Just ordered my first kit. I have a question about framing. Let me know if you have already covered this and I will watch the segment. I have a kit 10 by 14 inches and a kit 12 by 16 inches. What is the size of the frame should I be looking for when these are finished? I am not sure if you use a mat, or not, and what type of frame to use for the best look? Thank you. Hi Laura, and welcome! Those are all good questions! To be honest, I have not ventured much into the framing world yet, so I don't have too much helpful advice. I would try searching those terms in youtube and you should be able to find videos from others who have tried! Best of luck!!

Are you using the wax that comes with the kits? And what kind of drills are they? If they are the extra sparkly ones (AB drills) that is a common problem!

@@tamaranichols9808 Try sticking the wax onto something else first (maybe the clear plastic sheet over the canvas) first to make it a little less sticky. Then it will release the drills more easily
