Awesome man - I’m on a very low budget too (especially the earlier vids), I’m just making a bit of an exception for the occasion of Series 2. Bedard has been elusive, I’ve only pulled a single Bedard base from the team Canada set this whole time!

Thanks for sharing, tough luck on all of that there. I just had a look and I see 2023-24 Extended Hobby is on pre order for $250 Canadian dollars so I'm a little upset right now too lol. Hopefully you can get your hands on some more series 2 and have some better luck. Glad you got your hands on the Gagne canvas'!

Hey, from Winnipeg! Heard you name drop it, lol. I saw you pull a Brandon Tanev on your 1st pack. I pulled him yesterday and it was a transparent card. Is that common or not. Only clear one I've pulled. I didn't even know they had those. And I knew I had him already, but it was his normal base card. Well, at least you got pumped for some Base, Andre,Simmons & Jeremy.

It’s a clear cut (assuming this is flagship you were opening), and yeah they’re rare, only a handful per case. What product did you pull it from?

@jean-luc-bedard 2023-24 UD Series 2. It's the only kind I've bought this year. The last time I collected was years ago. He looks exactly like the base, but it's transparent. On the back, he's facing the same as the front of the card, but he's all white besides the S on his chest, which is blue with his name right underneath it.

@jean-luc-bedard I don't even know what Flagship is, honestly lol. Just watched a case break, and he pulled 4 that look like mine that I know now are called clear-cut. A young guns one, too. I'm still learning about this product. Lol

@@jvac1129yes it’s a clear cut, flagship is their series 1/2/extended stuff, their “main” or normal release. Clear cuts are only available in a hobby box so far as I know - must’ve been a fun rip!

They’re 1:30 or 1:20 packs depending on the insert but they do turn up a lot

Walmart shipping is the worst. I posted a video a while back of two Optic basketball blasters that I got from Walmart where one of them looked like someone had stepped on it. I had to speak with 6 or 7 people on the phone before I was allowed to mail it back for a refund.

I didn’t want to mail it back in case I was mailing a Bedard box for a non-Bedard box lol, hard to say in retrospect what did it as I realized the card was upside down in the pack, making it technically the top right corner that was damaged. So in that same problem spot. But it isn’t like a scuff, it’s indented. I haven’t actually tried to contact them… guessing they won’t give a damn as I opened the box

The odds of pulling it, the player, the beautiful look of the card, and the fact it was damaged makes it a big deal - what people are choosing to pay for it is irrelevant to me here, other than the fact that I love how cheap they are so I can keep snagging Gagne canvases and red outbursts for the price of a coffee!
