That was a beast of a fish man. Fantastic job of landing a monster that was barely hooked. Congratulations on a good tournament and I enjoyed the bait catching part too. Speaking of almost getting hit me and my brother were on a 16ft john boat fishin in a channel and a party of(had to be drunk) people on a big pontoon literally came 10 ft from hitting us we were yelling flashing lights and everything.

Nice catches, 2 years ago on Christmas day that night I caught the same 10 pounder rat 3 times from 6.10 pm to 6.37 pm, got 1 more then got tore up by something big 12 times in a row, I could not catch him and I tried every way to hook him, I seen several big boils around my line and like 60 feet to the left of my pole next to the back I heard a big splash, how do you miss a big hungry fish 12 times in a row, I believe it was a turtle a giant

I got some chicken breast marinating in strawberry jello, it's like 25-30 degrees this morning. Going to see if I can get a bite at the lake. I've been using live and cut panfish and just keep catching bass. So I'm going to change it up a little and try chicken.

Two fish weight in, we had 90.7# with a 52# and a 48# , I figured for sure we were in the money...nope lol. First place team had big fish that was 70 and change. Man you're gaining on it. Big ones go one of two ways seems like. Either they feel alot smaller than they are cus they dont know they're hooked or it feels like a snag right off the bat.
