Yes!! It’s completely confusing to other vendors and can definitely deter people from coming to shop if they see vendors leaving!!

I am also team Don't Leave Early - it's one thing to start tidying your behind-the-table space, and I'll pack away the backup inventory hidden under the table, but that isn't affecting the shopper's experience. I think when there are a bunch of empty booths along the way it keeps people from checking out that whole aisle/section, sometimes the market entirely

Yes definitely it negatively impacts everyone! I got two sales in the last five minutes which has happened to me a few times so I will always be team stay til the very end!

I work in mass machine embroidery (working with 4 to 8 head tajima machines) the vibrating is normal for both home and mass production machines. Its just the force of the presser foot and needle ( and motor) rocking the machine, but it is better to run at slower speeds cause the gears on the inside where the presser foot connects can wear down very quickly

That's good to hear! I was worried my machine was just constantly on the verge of dying lol. I do prefer to run it slower so I'll keep that up :)

Fyi for marine vinyl...they have sales and coupons really help, but I have gotten so much marine vinyl in the remnants section...always 50% off...my stash is huge just from remnants! ☺️

Same. Same girl! I applied to a Market that asked for a check mailed to them for the booth fee. THEN they expect you to wait and see if your check was cashed, which was their way of letting you know you were accepted. Seriously. My check was cashed 2 weeks before the event. So if I was not accepted I would of had no time to apply to another market.

On my patches I use2 stabilizer pc and 1 iron on pc. That's what works the best for me.

Love your vlogs ❤ I've decided to only continue with items for children, as these sell the best, people will buy and spend money on something for their child rather than themselves, I've noticed (or their pets), and do more child oriented fairs rather then craft or general market ones.

Hopefully my event this weekend that’s a children’s event will go well! It’s going to be a toss up maybe because it’s not focused on being a market it’s more of activity focused with vendors present 🤷🏼‍♀️

How do you handle breaks since you do your markets alone?

Thankfully my markets aren’t too long so I use the bathroom before I get set up and I bring whatever snacks/water I need for the event so I don’t really take any breaks!

How did you get started

That's a great question! I plan on doing a video talking about it because it's kind of a long story haha but a short summary is I started with an apparel business in 2021 while my twins were newborn, that didn't really work out, I started listening to a podcast about selling on Amazon, I decided to try that out, then it morphed into doing markets and adding more products and that's where we are now!
