I do understand people who get frustrated when there's no forfeit in a one-sided game, but I have that mentality. When I'm down with no chance of coming back, I'll still play because it's not just about winning, it's about learning. If you can use your noggin to figure out how to slow down or stop the other player/ team, you're learning to deal with difficult situations, and mentality is a huge part of Rocket League. Accepting the loss and taking that opportunity to play against better players can only help you.

@@soggytoast8061 Some might think it's cringe, but I'll even play handicap games if my teammates leave. I've learned to play differently when I'm outnumbered. It's not much different than my regular playstyle, but I know that I don't have to think about a teammate so I can pick up as much boost as I want and go for any challenge or save that I want. I don't see other people do this when their teammates leave, they still kinda play pretty timid or regular Rocket League, meanwhile I'm just blazing around the field, stealing all the boost, pre-jumping air dribbles, and demoing everyone. XD

@@MichaelSheaAudio Currently stuck in a lower level than I should be, and the 1 v 2's or 2 v 3's just make more sense; maybe it's playing around less people; or conscientiously being aware I have more space and maybe more boost to do what I need to do.

@@DanielRBW I had a bad run where I was playing fine but kept losing, I just couldn't win, so I dropped down to Champ 1 div 1. Rocket League didn't help by taking 200 MMR from me at the start of the season, so I gotta work back up to champ 2/ champ 3, so I know what you mean. 😂

Lots of good tips this video! About the 50s, if you watched eu salt mine mawkzy vs zen mawkzy made zen look like his car was made of concrete simply through drive 50s. Zen was dodging in to every 50 and mawkzy wasn't and he was just so much faster then zen.

at 18:01 you can learn to just bang it into their net with a driving touch at fast speed with this position/setup (even supersonic you can follow it) i do it consistently its pretty easy once you get a feel for the hit force and aiming. I use the front right of my car hitbox to scoop it up over the field. sometimes you have to small jump to get the right angle but it is much easier than how you try and control it slowly, fast wouldn't even have time to defend ^^ next level would even let you ceiling pinch it with air roll left tornado spin ^^
