Money comes and goes. You never regret seeing money leave your pocket for good reasons, but you can definitely regret seeing a standard transmission GT3 RS leave your garage FOREVER. Don't blame you for getting rid of the e36 race car. One of the more regrettable things I did was go fully built 1000whp on our e36 328i. Car definitely wasn't as enjoyable afterwards. Didn't help it was 2007 so that much power was unheard of. So wasnt too happy with the trans, ecu, clutching and lag (engine is a 8:1 old school big boost build with an 80mm) Car was more fun when it was making 6-700whp with the stock engine.

HPF i remember seeming a little shady. Especially with their hp claims and reliability. @@vin_tra yea we felt pretty much untouchable. Even better was that the car is a sedan so street racing packed 5 deep was always fun. my only build ill probably ever do to that extent. It was stressful towards the end worrying about what's going to break next and how much will it cost. Thankfully alot of the one off parts we had sponsors like driveshaft shop made the first run of e36 axles and driveshaft for us, UUC made a few custom turbo cams and ICS in Stamford CT gave us free labor and dyno time for life. It was just me and my pops. I was still in high-school and he was in the elevator union. Slept in the 95 Tahoe we used to tow the car plenty of nights. But also stayed at multi million dollar estates and guest houses in Greenwich nextdoor to 50 cent/ Mike Tyson. Some of the people we met up there were insanely wealthy it was a culture shock to me. One time I rode with the guy we stayed with to get a b day present for his dad and come to find out he bought him a brand new Z8 that we beat the crap out of for a couple hours. He was only 17 at the time also but guess he had access to his parents accounts. Everyone up there called us "The Rednecks" and said we had an accent. Thinking of selling the GT3RS is normal because of how much equity BUT you don’t NEED to sell it. That car is a mini 401k the longer you own it. Yea it’s too valuable to use on track so fine don’t use it that way. Stay the course, thin the herd, recoup your storage $ and space. Daily the Raptor, manual swap the Ferrari. Less cars less stress and anxiety about keeping them all up. You probably sent the GTI to NY and that to me is another keeper cause it isn’t worth much but very cool. Doing well Vin. I agree with Vin here. The E36 never felt right on this channel. Building an insane race car in one go is cool and all. I just enjoy the slow development of a race car. It’s fun seeing a car and a driver develop together rather than a driver building an insane car that they now have to learn to drive. Much like the guys over at gears and gasoline. They seem to have the formula down for good story development, pacing, and just fun in general. Not sure if Vin will see if but as I get older and realize that I won’t realistically own as many cars as a KZbinr, his approach to thinning out the pack feels more grounded and realistic. Which I find refreshing in the KZbin landscape these days. I also work in architecture so I fucking love seeing his house 😂 that that place is a dream. Garage and all

I guess you're slowly stepping out of the e36 game but I'm making a full carbon fiber e36 m3 2 door. Bad timing I guess, but if you're interested in a cf part that the e36 never had, I probably have it. Excellent work and looking forward to your next projects.

I have 11 vehicles and yes, I would like to have more but I modify everything so I have to sell some because as you mentioned, its insane how much time it takes to clean them all and go thru all the details that they need and maintenance etc.

Car buying and selling series would be sweet. Vin Spec Cars for sale or trade. A sniper series where you buy the sickest cars to flip would be fun to watch. Especially in L.A. the inventory is amazing there.

A N54 135i, 1M or even 335is would be a great project daily, super cheap, tons of support, huge power potential, I know Berns built one. The 1M is going to be a classic one day too, they're surprisingly rare, they're already going up in price.

I like those but I’d just get an e92 m if I was in that category tbh.

Sad to see the 3 go but excited for what you got coming next. I imported a bone stock 34 sedan a few years ago to Texas so hoping you pick one up too so I can follow along on the journey

Something I do enjoy and maybe you can hit up like big time jobe or maybe even suppy or other friends. Do a two part modified car challenge. I first is 5k all in buy car fix and or repair do a set or challenges. Then do a second round 5k into the same car for mods.. Or more fixes. And do the same set of challenges. Easy way to kinda give quick projects and some insight on different chassis and makes for good raffle cars at the end. And who knows for 10k you can prove to the next gen that cars can still be fun and affordable

Do a R34GTT Sedan Drift build. Kind of stands out on KZbin since there hasn't been a ton of builds of the R34 yet. R32 GTRs and Chaser JZX100s are sick, but honestly they've been done a good bit on youtube.
