It’s unfortunate Common that victims blame themselves for the behaviors and outcomes of trauma and tragedies. It’s NEVER THE VICTIMS FAULT. ITS ALWAYS THE FAULT OF THE PERPETRATORS. NO ONE CAUSES A PERPETRATORS ACTIONS. PERIOD! Doesn’t matter what age you are when you become a victim or what age the perpetrators are when they become perpetrators…it’s their actions that cause trauma. Our sick society constantly and continues to blame victims…I will NEVER understand it. Ppl for some reason want to investigate and question victims…why did she stay, why did she go, it was a Money grab, she could have left, she just wanted a come up, she wanted to trap him, she could have left if she wanted to, she just wants to tare down a wealthy blk man. Do listen to these idiots. If she was your sister, mom, aunt, niece, brother, nephew, brother would you want that type of response and humiliation aimed at them? Or if she/he was you or your child? It’s toxic conditioning. Be the change you wish to see.

You shouldn’t ask or advise ppl to “move on”! Trauma is life long…and it’s her trauma. I know you mean well. We all have trauma…doesn’t mean we walk around in trauma all day. It means that we are human Suggesting ppl “move on” is asking them to pretend THIER trauma doesn’t exist…or ignore it or minimize it. Silence or feeling like you must be silent ”move on” When it does. Speaking about it actually helps the healing process. Think about how many ppl watching her video have maybe be helped or even moved to tell their truth…or acknowledge what happened to them.
