I actually self excluded from Admirals at start of the year. Got fed up of putting over a thousand in and doing absolutely nothing at all. It's not just about the money. It's mentally draining knowing it's not going to do anything but keep putting money in, thinking it has to. No it definitely shouldn't take anywhere near that for a feature, even on ultra. I feel for ya brother, I was in the betting shop last Saturday playing crown jems on the red bags lost £1200. It just was fusting me from the getgo. Yes l realise in some cases they have got screwed down by 1-2% but they seem to be paying completely differently. This is why I've stopped going into arcades. I'm nowhere near the level of funding that you or others have. Arcades are utterly futile. Gambling is supposedly fun - but now it's not. It's a megabucks industry where even the small £5 jackpots can take £100 off you before a jackpot eventually comes in!! It's always been a mugs game so to speak...but the loses capable in a session totalling in the high thousands of pounds is extremely dangerous and irresponsible from the gaming industry.
