Stay the 24 hours. Lots of things don't happen 6 hours out. The bilirubin check isn't best til 12. Pneumonia usually don't set up an infant's until 20 to 24 hours after birth. It sounds great to go home but some of those sign are hard for experience parents to spot. Be safe.. good luck ladies 😀

Here a tip. After I gave birth to my son, the hospital gave me couple dog pads and mesh panties -which was super uncomfortable and plasticky. So my son's father bought me adult diapers which helped me move more. I bled for 3 weeks (4th trimester) straight after birth but the adult diapers helped. Hope this tip helps.

Looks like you're pretty well set. You should also bring a few hair ties. A few must haves for your lady bits after birth. Frida Instant ice maxi pads Dermoplast pain relieving spray Perineal irrigation bottle All the above will help immensely after giving birth. The irrigation bottle you'll use to squeeze down there the first time you pee and you'll want to use it every time you use the bathroom. The instant ice maxi pads will soothe and bring down the swelling. The dermoplast numbs the pain from the swelling and tears. Are you bringing socks that have little grips on the bottom? If not, definitely bring some slippers.
