Congratulations!!!!!! My cousin’s first child was born at 28 weeks. He was not healthy for awhile but outgrew all of the issues. He is now 15 and almost 6 feet tall. May God continue to hold your precious son in His hands. I’m so happy for you.

My water broke at 25 weeks and I didn’t have my daughter until 28 weeks. She was 2 pounds and 5 oz. My placenta was infected and she was born not breathing, with pneumonia and on a ventilator for her first 2 days. The doctor said she had the highest infection levels they had ever seen in a baby, they didn’t think she would make it. It was such a traumatic situation. We went through 3 months in the N.I.C.U, heart surgery and a feeding tube place for swallowing issues. She is 17 months now and doing so well, she still has a g-tube but she is happy and relatively healthy. She has been a fighter since day one. She came exactly when she needed to. If she had stayed in me any longer because of the unknown infection she would have died.

Congratulations! My water broke at 19 weeks and I ended up on hospital bed rest until 25 weeks when my daughter decided it was time. She weighed 1 pound 6 oz and stayed in the hospital for three months before coming home. She’s a happy, healthy, 11 year old now.

Almost the same I was 23 weeks with my son … horrible situation that he didn’t make it. But god is miraculous through grief and doctors saying I wouldn’t be able to have any others I now have a baby girl congratulations to you both

The injection is to prevent postpartum hemorrhage. I gave birth last October and the nurse forgot to give one. He helped me push out the placenta and immediately I started having postpartum hemorrhage.

I am so sorry for your loss. That is absolutely heartbreaking. I know that they recommend waiting 18 months, but there are many people who get pregnany soon after and manage to carry to fully term
