My Birthday Ride on a Brompton 62 today :)

62 today and still fighting fit, I've had almost 30 years of extra life since major neurosurgery back in the early 1990's, you could say 30 years of borrowed time, but life is still good and I am still very well. They must have done a great job on me. I am thankful for the care the NHS afforded me back then and ever since, I know things could be better with the health service but when the going gets rough for any of us it's the NHS we all ultimately rely on!!! Thanks to all my Subscribers. I am feeling very thankful today. Special thanks to my mate Dave :) Wiltshire Man

My experience of the NHS is like yours, when you are seriously ill they will try and sort you out as a priority but for minor ailments you just have to be patient. I am re-watching a lot of your videos as I am recovering from surgery to my right ankle after an incident which fractured it and needed pins and plates. I agree with your words about the NHS, ever so thankful that I was a week at home before they got me in for surgery. They certainly did a great job back in the early 90s, not borrowed time at all, I am a firm believer that you were destined to be here 35 years later with a new purpose. Lovely birthday ride out with Dave. Always wanted to visit the Cotswolds in late sprinng/early summwt, when all the flowers start to vome out. Those Brompton bikes really do come into their own when travelling partly by train...impressed...very impressed
