My mother Cheryl Andrews personally knew Mr Russell. I've got to see him a few times. My mother passed away 2020 but will be thrilled to see this. If you're able to see this Mr. Russell I LOVE YOUR MUSIC and listen to it everyday. I guess you can say bluegrass music runs in my genes!

I'm so thankful that the powers that be have finally done a first class interview view with one of the best singers in all of music. It does not matter where you come from or what you taste may or may not be in generes Russell is on the Mount Rushmore of singers. He's also a world class person and friend. Enjoy!

And now he’s also part of Alison Krauss and Union Station, with the departure of Dan Tyminski.

I seen Russell way back in the mid 70's and fell in love with his sound. My husband who can't recall many names at all in this field can surely recall his. That's a big PLUS for Russell who doesn't even know it. LOL

Guy is one of the best singers ever and absolutely great guy to go with it! My honor to play on the same stage and at the same venues he did and even more an honor to be able to meet him and the rest of the band!

I cannot wait to hear Russell with Alison Krauss & Union Station. Also, it's pretty amusing that Dan Tyminski is part of the commercial break in this video.

I’m eager to hear this new chapter of AKUS as well. The “album” is due any time now.

I really wanted to go see them but the ticket prices these days are just crazy high in my opinion. When they have 3 digits per ticket, I get annoyed. Ha.

@@virginiatrailcameravideos Yeah. The ticket prices are definitely too high. But AKUS has been my favorite band since 2001, and there was no way I could pass up the chance to see again. Especially with Russell Moore.
