Hey buddy, just curious because I think I’m heading this direction of buying a truck and camper and taking a couple years off. My question is how do you deal with health insurance? Or if you were to get injured or ill, how do you cover those expenses? I know these are random questions, but I’m trying to figure that part of this journey out .

Well, to be honest, I do not have very good advice for you. I do not have any insurance. My doctor only costs $120 to visit and I do that twice a year to maintain my meds. My meds only cost $52 a year so at this moment I’m doing all right. I am rolling the dice but I have nothing to lose nothing they can take away and I’m sure if a major problem came up like life-support. I’ll be able to get on something to get it paid for I hope. I should also probably mention that I had everything checked while I did have insurance I had my heart examined, my lungs, examined, and all the other important parts and other than high blood pressure, which is not really a big deal at the moment and anxiety, I am in good shape. Lastly, I should point out. I am a truck driver with 35 years experience and I could have a job in a week so it does make me a little arrogant.

Great video! Did you order the camper w/o the decals? We rented a TC800 with the XB (extra bunk). I would love to know more about your shower, electrical upgrades.
@bonafideadventures84255 жыл бұрын
John Shultz I took those decals off because eventually I’m going cover the whole thing with vinyl wrap. I spent the fall up in ADK and realize that I do need a bigger truck with four-wheel-drive. So back to work In order build up my funds again. Sorry it will end up taking me a year and a half to come up with the 50gs you know what I mean.

@@bonafideadventures8425 yeah. I work full time in law enforcement. We want a camper to go on the back of my Ram Power Wagon for extended weekends here in the great Pacific Northwest. Thanks for the vid.

So how is the Northstar camper holding up for you? Are you fulltime in it? I want to get something super lightweight and the problem is you're limited with an 8ft bed - 3/4 ton truck so the Northstar brand has a popup style and hard side model that I've been looking at.

Dude it’s awesome spent the summer driving around with it. Have to admit didn’t do too many adventures though. It was a lot of fun just driving around and Boon-docking. I’m starting a new job next weekend in York if you want we could meet up you can have a look

@@bonafideadventures8425 that's a possibility. I won't know until Thursday or Friday if I have to work the weekend.
