So basically a book of shadows is like a personal reference book that you create? I find myself researching and writing in notebooks also, but that is a great idea to use a sketchbook. I'm not a witch, I was just wondering. I happened upon your page today and have been sucked into your videos! Your energy is beautiful.

In HS I was obsessed with astrology and would laminate any large illustration of any astro. sign until the set was complete then I would punch holes on the side and keep them in a binder. Gosh! I loved that binder, but lost her in all the moving, so now you have encouraged me to start over and this will be so much fun.

I was looking up dark matter and came across one of your videos. 5 hours later I was still watching! It's kinda like I don't want to watch, but I want to watch if that makes sense. This is definitely some next level stuff I didn't learn about through Esther Hicks or Joel. You seem relatable as well...not scary and after watching several videos I can tell you know your ish. yeah you can even just glue in your stuff and decorate around it if u get a larger sketch book

Ooh I have an idea for that tin. Do you know how people cut out the insides of books for a secret storage place? Maybe you could do that to a small part of the book and place the tin inside

Ashera, Back when I first became convinced this was my Spiritual path I began a BOS in a large spiral notebook and just wrote in it. I became convinced this is where I fit. I love to read and purchased as many books as I could afford. My favorites are by Silver RavenWolf. I stopped writing information and my thoughts and feelings as I was frustrated by not being able to add additional pages. After seeing your fantastic book (the BEST I've seen on KZbin!) I now know what I am going to do! There are scrapbooks that you can add pages to and even use "post extenders" to make them larger. I just have to get started. You are an inspiration and I adore your book. Thank you. This video is going on My Facebook page so I can begin and index of different sections! Blessings always.

I literally built my book of shadows from too wooden boards!!! It came out so nice but I stopped n now I just don't want to finish it bc I do feel like binding the pages in it lol!!! Smh!! Plus it's not as big as I want it to b. So since u just gave me a great idea. I might just do what u did n purchase a scrape book with all the pages already in it n do my same design from the one I handmade n then either sell my old one one I bind the pages in it or just do a free give away!!! It so cute. I gotta finish it. I love love love urs. N ur so pretty n witchy love it. Love all ur videos. Great woman u r.

Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to fill your BoS that far? I have a little mini BoS that I'm sort of scrapbooking, and I'm torn between wanting to do a ton of pages at once and saving pages to do later.

Do you know anything about Ouija boards. I used one about a year ago and I got a spirit that said she was a vampire and she was my mom. (my birth mom is still alive) but she said I am a witch and all that. and my friend is one too. and my friend has been able to move objects with her mind but I can't :/ I want to know if the board is telling the truth or if I was just talking to a demon. so I'm new at this and I have no idea how being a witch works.

I am not trying to create a book from scratch , I mean if I did that would be cool but I figured people would be able to realize that the word "made" could mean how I took a sketch book and MADE it into a Book of Shadows... not many people make books from scratch these days in the modern world so I figure I could get away with simply buying a blank book like 99% of people do these days. But I can understand if you were looking on a home made book to do. There are a few you tube videos on that as well. I simply do not have the time to build a book from scratch!

Awe, you lucky witch!!!! Here in Iowa we never find ANYTHING that nice at either the Dollar General Store nor the Dollar Tree! In fact, these stores have really been scaling what they sell back quite severely and sell knock off groceries and they are otherwise very utilitarian with almost nothing "nice" to find in them. :( I'm so jealous! At the moment I am looking into the subject of hand binding since I saw a couple youtube videos by non-specialists that totally gave me the confidence that I could make my own Medieval-looking grimoire! :)
