If you're a certain age, or attended certain events over the years then you'll know. Millie has iconic legendary status in the eyes of my family and thousands of others. For the music and also her personality and the way she conducted herself. ALWAYS representing the best of us. May she rest in eternal peace with all the other legends 🙏🏾🫶🏾🎵🎶

As I am very much into history, I was wondering if anyone know, how Millie Small got hold of this song. Originally recorded and released by Barbie Gaye in 1957, also a SKA ish version, however little more rnb orientates, and Barbie Gaye was a white girl. I love both versions and yes, it is still a song which brings joy to many people, and I do play it when I am a dj. Thank you for all the good music you did Millie Small
