I believe online dating is for people who value looks more than personality, because you can not judge somebodys personality through their bio. Most guys, not all, but most guys who frequent online dating apps do NOT have the confidence to approach and meet women offline in the real life. You cannot judge chemistry through your smartphone keypad. Just my two cents here

@@rullalani Looks are important to me, but I don’t like shy guys and rarely find guys I’m actually interested in on apps, however I’m trying to put some effort in. While I much prefer meeting guys IRL 🩷 I am doing my best to expand my options. I recently discovered Luxy and am currently being reviewed. It told me my profile was trending and offered me 30% off to sign up, however I’m not wanting to pay for the service, just given I haven’t had much luck with apps in the past. When it comes to messages, I believe you should wait to receive the first message from a man, because that’s a masculine action. However, although this is my opinion, it’s your decision depending on what you feel comfortable with!

Hello! Unfortunately, being verified doesn't give you freedom when it comes to messaging. You have to upgrade to a paid account in order to be able to initiate conversations, or you are only allowed to respond to messages that you receive. Hope this helps!

When guys immediately ask me out before chatting and building rapport, it feels too soon and I don’t prefer it. But I guess it’s different for everyone. I like how you don’t just give out your number.
