when you have that extra 1 tile gap, you can "hide it" and level out the fences by using the terrain tool. use the level terrain on the lower foundation to make the terrain match, then cover it with the flooring you wanted.

I think, like was mentioned by Kayla at one point in the video, building a house that looks amazing and building a house that's functional for gameplay are 2 different things. It's honestly not that hard to get on and build a house that looks good; especially if you take inspiration from real houses. Just the newer you are the longer it's going to take you. Building a house though that looks really good and is completely functional for what you'll need in gameplay.. that's pretty tough.

I agree the ability to centre doors and windows is game changing. I used to expand or shrink my builds depending on how big the perfect door was because I can't stand things off centre. I was more excited about the free update because of this than I was about the new eco lifestyle expansion.

You should do a build collar with Vixella, plumbella, etc, where each room is built by a different you tuber. So make a shell, tell each person they can do a part (kitchen, dining, master bedroom, etc) and put the rooms together in the end. If you can figure out a way for each person to decorate the outside of just their room, that would look so cool!

If you have a non english keyboard it might be other keys. I have a Norwegian keyboard and I think I use to rotate floor (?) Just test different keys until you find it 😊 I struggled a long time with these things not working because every simmer I watch uses english keyboards so I have never really seen anyone talk about it...
