Your videos are so useful! I started making bracelets when I was like 10 or 11, so that'd be year 2008 or 2009. I was on a vacation with my grandparents, sister and cousins, and in the same hotel there was this much older girl who made them and she was willing to teach us. I kept making them every once in a while for a few years, and then I stopped for some reason. I'm 20 now and in college and I just made one for my sister's 9th birthday, and I realized I really miss making them, so I'm trying to get back into it :D Your videos help a lot! Thanks! I never even knew alpha patterns existed, I only made the easy ones :D

Ahahahaha I made it all the freaking way through. That’s a lot of bracelets I love how you have memories tagged with them! I think it’s wonderful. I got into bracelets by looking for a pride bracelet on amazon, I couldn’t find a one I liked so after awhile I decided to make it. I ordered a BUNCH of thread off amazon instead. When it came I wanted to start out slow instead of making a like 20 string bracelet in my first go. I made a tiny bracelet instead and as soon as I finished it I LOVED IT. I love making bracelets now, it’s spring break (hahaha extended till like forever) and my goal is to make so many bracelets they go up to my elbows, since I love wearing all of my bracelets. And I plan to make the rainbow bracelet tomorrow, I absolutely love it. And I love your channel. When I get a girlfriend I think I’m goin to e s May in bracelets like you did. Anyway, thank you for this AMAZING channel, and teaching us how to make these awesome bracelets. Have a great day/night

Hello - you asked for ideas on how to store your bracelets. I'm not sure if my idea will work for you but, you could display the majority of them similar to how bugs/butterflies are displayed: pinned in groupings to black or white covered foam(?) backgrounds that are displayed on the wall in shadowbox frames(?). This would allow you to lay them out in chronological order with little paper name plates giving info for each bracelet; when it was made, the pattern name, etc.. This would also allow them to be displayed as the art they, since you don't wear them. For the 2 bracelets that you and your (now) spouse wore, I'd display them similarly - but individually - putting each bracelet alongside the picture of you two wearing them, in its own shadowbox mounting frame. Beautiful work & I enjoy your vids. ;-)

I literally have a half-finished keychain in front of me, as I'm watching this video. I used super sticky tape, so when I took it off, to look at it, it became sticky. So I tried rubbing it off. Bad mistake. It now has dirty marks on it, because I didn't wash my hands before I did. Never thought of it. Why would you, ya know? So, filming a video of how to wash dirty bracelets is a BRILLIANT idea. I know I would watch it.

You could take a pool noodle, cover it with sticky velvet fabric or paint it black, and put all of your bracelets on it. You can then cover them with plastic wrap to protect them, slide a nice long rope through the pool noodle and hang it up in your powder room or where-ever you other jewelry is..That might motivate you to wear them, but at least you’ll get to see them instead of keeping them hidden in a box!

How do you have your bracelets so thick? I’ve tried so many different strings and my bracelets are still so tiny and thin. When o try doing thicker ones, like 20 strings, they’re about as thick as your ten string bracelet. Am i knotting too tight or is something else the problem?
@MashaKnots5 жыл бұрын
Hmm, maybe send me a picture on Instagram so I can get an idea of what you're talking about? It might be how tight you make your knots, it might be the string, it really depends. Though I will say, once I stopped making my knots so tight the bracelets did become thicker.
