Remember most people put a mask on or even a facade in front of others, especially strangers. More often than not only the partner, children's, or other family members know who the real person is. Sure, bad partner, parents, kids, and relatives exist, but it is very rare that all of the close relatives are bad all at the same time. It is extremely important not to make a harsh judgement so quickly or even take sides. Only times, more over hard times expose the true colors of people. It takes time to make a full observation and then a well-informed judgement of someone or a situation. People are complex creatures and each one of us has flaws and make mistakes . Unless you know them personally for a long period of time, it is very unlikely you really know who a person really is.
