Nice video, I did my assessment at Pirbright and I have to agree the food was excellent. I start basic training there in 3-4 weeks so might see you there at some point.

Ah smile socks and gloves the reason they fold them like that goes into the distance past many moons ago the Army used Navy kit bags not the green ones but these were white canvas and had a drew string these were half the size of the green ones but wider . To pack a kit bag you role the sides down then you start you get your clothing fold them say a shirt from left to right untill there about ten inches in width then heresthe trick you roll it up place it in the bag so it stands on end you do this untill you form a circle then pad the center with a towel that is folded into a square then get your boots turn the sides in and down then place them in the center one up one down then fill the rest of the kit bag with your clothing folded and rolled ,in doing this you will be able to place more clothing into that kitbag . This was taught to me by my farther who was in the DEMS I'll let you look them up you'll be surprised but he was also a Recrut instructor in the times of the National Service at this time they had carbord suitcase as I did in the 70s and the standard green kitbag and one civilian suitcase the same size as the isude one . Lol being constipated is normal and Intentional in my time food in the cookhouse was payed at a low rate mainly to cover the cost of fresh vegetables and meat on the other hand the food had to be half and half half fresh half compo now this is where you get constipated compo is designed to make you not need to use the toilet for No2 for a couple of days it could fe upto three days but the slop jockeys were very helpful they would put a mild laxsertive in the tea just to help things move along , in my unit this was done by a medic

Can tell by the editing you had to keep getting it right. Shame. Maybe don't worry so much next time

I hope you come to America to visit. Don’t worry. The American war of independence happened a long time ago. People don’t care anymore atleast most people I would say. We welcome our British Allies.
