$20,000+ for suspension, wheels, and tires just sounds so crazy to me for a daily. Definitely just go full blown show truck with it as far as powder coating goes. Gonna look sick regardless

@@slapdoctor707 for sure, but if the parts alone are already over 20k, you might as well push it a bit further and powder coat them. My idea of a beater is a a truck that costs less than 20k

@@Treehandler This kit is 6k with king coils without the rear bypass bracket setup. All the hardware is only 4500. That's still a good amount of bread in my opinion but far from 20k

I’d say be modest with the purple, it’s a whole different feeling when you think a truck or whatever has stock suspension and you peek your head and see a little surprise and you get that smirk going, compared to seeing flashy suspension right out the gate

For powder coat Prismatic Illusion Violet looks a lot like anodized purple. If you change all the blue to purple/violet on the Kings I'd do the lower control arm in it too and leave the top control arm either black or gray. For wheels Innov8 Racing's G500 or G600 with the Techlite simulated beadlock would be 🔥! Black or gray rim with the Techlite in purple/violet. As much as it would suck to wait longer I'd get the rear suspension kit too. Looking forward to the build. Enjoy your channel, you have such a wide variety of content that's always fun to watch!

Ryan, just FYI, When you order things you should specify that you don't ever want it routed thru their substation at Bum Farkle Arkansas. That Hub is very slow and they are famous for mangling packages. They do have a rule about not kicking things more than seven times when they drop them but not everyone plays by the rules. You just have to read all the fine print when you order it under the heading of shipping enhancements. I hope this helps. 😉

KDM Shock Technologies for the king customization. They do full color changes and different protective coating options for the shock shafts and also custom valving/tuning for them. They work on a lot of shocks for Baja race teams.

As far as powder coating the the stuff I know a great place here in phx that does amazing work. Definitely would recommend them. Sadly I don’t know anyone in Cali that does powder coating. Home Depot and Lowe’s are both easy to figure out. I hate waiting for the lazy employees that are literally always MIA at my local Lowe’s so I figured out the code to the paint cage pretty quick. Home Depot luckily usually leaves theirs open.

That's a condescending unit for some type of food or beverage cold storage. The second fan turns on at a certain pis or outside air temp depending the set up.

I know it’s a lot of money but you spent it for the front, you should get a matching kit for the rear to keep the suspension height, travel, and performance the same as the front. If you just throw a regular lift in the rear the rear won’t ride nearly as nice as the front.

You should have coordinated with King to maybe get it all powder coated before assembling, if that is even possible, might want to check the warranty for disassembling them. But it will turn out legit either way.

I believe the kit was for the control arms, axles and king shocks but it was still way to much. I know for two king shocks it's about 1k so I really don't see 7k in control arms and axle bars. Way to much and now, like you said has to buy a kit for the rear. Doesn't make sense to me on spending almost 15k to 20k for just a 3" to 4" kit and wheels and tires. I would look for a more reasonable lift kit for front and back and integrate the king shocks in with that kit and sell whT he has now to someone else or try to return them for his money back.
