My Brother and Foreigner (Kuya) in Mindanao

You know it is such an overwhelming experience being able to bring my Brother and his friend Blake to my home here in Northern Mindanao. I didn't want to make their visit all about filming, so we only took clips... but I was able to capture a few experiences they had.
This was their first full day in Northern Mindanao....
From Jeepneys, to Halo-Halo, to nature, to Tuba, and a "secret waterfall"...
We ended up in the bukid of Jasaan! It was awesome!
Happiness, Adventure and learning :)

I used to live in the remote mountains with rivers & falls but I wouldn't venture the way you do Kulas. There might be snakes, spiders on the way. You're really is a one heck Great Adventure Kyle. Thanks for reminding of those nature. I haven't seen you watching the spider fight yet. It's common game with boys there. I used to go with my bros looking for spiders in the jungle they then create a match house & build from a tin can where a spider spin & the wheels turn at the end of it the spider was able to carry a small load of sand. Great engineering. They're all engineers now but none of them created an idea than when they were small. Good luck for more adventures.

K...OMG your Kuya brought TUBA into whole new level as just like expensive red wine to drink, the way he drink it he is refined and Blake, the way he drink is just like he is in wine tasting in one of the Okanagan vineyard here in British Columbia (very classy) even not in a typical wine stem glass. I have never seen a video Caucasian drinking Tuba or Lambanog the way your Kuya and his friend did it with class.

He noted that not all of Mindanao is infested with radical groups, even though his info is inaccurate (I've seen government officials commit worse inaccuracies when discussing the subject), and gave a very realistic travel advice. Then he offered sincere condolences for those who have unfortunately fallen victim to evil. I understand his sense of caution - foreign tourists unfortunately become targets to those who wish to take advantage of them, using politics, religion, or social justice as an excuse to further their agenda. However, I am sure that Kyle and his longtime friend and videographer Kumar coordinate with the locals so they don't just go stumbling around the place. Also, anyone who's been following Kyle's Philippine adventure must realize by now that he has no ulterior motive for going places other than to immerse himself in the local culture and connect with people. I'm not saying that religious missionaries and foreign tourists should stay away from the Philippines - in fact, I encourage them to come and witness this nation's splendor. What I'm saying is that Kyle has been doing his adventure vlog for quite some time now, and he hasn't reported any untoward incidents yet, so perhaps (hoping and praying) even the local radical groups see the beauty of what he does everywhere he goes. Hey, but that's just my long-winded opinion.
