my older brother ollied off a full size loading dock (more like falling... with style) with honestly like less than 4-5 hours under his belt. he just tagged along with my friends and i for the fun and got real overconfident since we were all throwing down a session. prolly less than ten tries too. it was one of the craziest beginner's luck feats i've ever witnessed. never skated again... lol

Dude, this video is pure motivation. I am 35 and skated a bit in my youth. Was not even even able to ollie properly. Triggered by the THPS 1+2 remaster on PS4, I recently decided to try it again with a proper board beginning by literally zero. This video will be a blueprint for beginning with it. Came over to your videos from watching old Rodney Mullen stuff. Love your videos and mad props to your brother! Beginner goal is to land the pop shove it as him.

I just started skating. I feel like he has a bit more than 10 minutes experience. He took to cruising and riding pretty naturally, and when I first set my foot in a board I felt like I was going to die. Unless he's just that naturally talented.

I love this video ! I started skateboarding last week, and what I learned since is precisely what your brother gets to half of the video : riding, going down banks and kickturn ! His various kickturn tries looked pretty much like mine ^^. Hope I'll master pop shove it as fast, but then I don't have Jonny Giger as a teacher with me at the park...

This was great! If Samuel is game, I think a series where you teach him different tricks and we follow him learning to skate would be awesome. Also, can I ask what language you speak? My guess would be Romansh just because I'm pretty sure you're Swiss and it's not French, German or Italian. But I have no idea what Romansh actually sounds like so it could be anything for all I know!
