yeah, that's how I always find cool new stuff. it's the visual tied to the cool song title AND the band name and sometimes the label. it sometimes helps me to know what I'm getting into, so to speak. like, if I see that somebody's on Southern Lord, I KNOW my face is about to get melted!!!! :D

This is the greatest piece of psychedelic music I've heard so far. A feeling of sadness and happiness mixing through one another. It's so perfect in harmony, it gives you a feeling of being in a state of Nirvana, where the spirit is free. I don't know, it just feels that way. I don't even need to use drugs for this. Thank you.

I only said that 'cuz I like to listen to chill music like this on long-ass roadtrips, especially at night or when leaving so early that it's still night out...so pretty much some element of darkness and/or chillness has to be there in order for me to really be able to get into the mood of this song...just like Interpol or older minus the bear stuff whenever it rains... btw, do you mean that the restless is the band you like to listen to in a similar situation or what???
@axeslinger9411 жыл бұрын
(cont.) I also think that, by me believing in God (I'm Baptist), that we were put on earth with all the tools we'll ever need to figure it out, and part of me thinks that He's watching us and sadistically laughing as we try and figure out how to run things and create things and such...maybe that's just me, but idk...

@galaktuswax9 жыл бұрын
This ranks right up there with some of the best Grateful Dead space jams.
@photoslum5 жыл бұрын
Ha, not even close. This is great stuff, killer stuff, but this type of jam and tone is done by countless bands, and mostly done well. Compare this to the Dark Star from Rotterdam 72 or most any Playing In The Band from 72-73, Scarlet-Fire etc and get back to me. But it is really about what the music does for the listener, so it is great that this brings you to that place!
@axeslinger9411 жыл бұрын
yeah, they're probably one of those skrillex-lovin' peeps that can't wrap their head around the fact that something could be this slow, heavy, AND cool at the same time...unlike the aforementioned....*ahem*
@SteeleHard11 жыл бұрын
Well, I have my very own personal reasons, I love too many Restless concepts suited into Rock suceful bands hits like, Restless Breed (Riot), Restless Gypsy (W.A.S.P), and so on, reminds me a person that I love so much, she used to call herself Restless Gypsy, like the WASP song. This new sound by "MBTW" just blew up my head, great sound and intense
@axeslinger9411 жыл бұрын
the sound IS intense, in it's own way, of course... I really just discovered this band from looking at the side suggestions and just thinking "well, this HAS to be cool, just look at the song title and the band name!!!" I also love the concept of what lies beyond the threshold of death and all that, not to sound emo...I just think that's some interestingly heavy shit that, psychologically and emotionally, humans weren't made to handle.
@HunterJiron11 жыл бұрын
First off, she said '70 not '80. Second, she is referring to the style being '70s progressive rock, not the actual date it was created.
