And they were being arrested, of course it was too late for them to realized. with their arrogant behaviour. After Hide and Mio released from the prison, Mio divorced Hide. Without financial support, both of them became jobless. As for Keichi and Noa, everyone appreciates them since Mio and Hide were gone. They were being blessed by their colleagues, vice president and the president, they get married. A few days later, Keichi invited Noa to join the university reunion. There, everyone congrats Keichi married. Later, Tokusa said that he heard that Hide is struggling to find a job. Karin also said that Mio have to pay neck in debt. Yuri also said that both of them asking them for money, but they were witness about how they betrayed Keichi. So they blocked their contracts, even their parents cut ties with them. Tachibana say that they did what they got, so they decided not to pity on them. After all, it's all the past.

She has debts, which allude to an extravagant lifestyle, but oddly enough, they didn't explain _what_ she did to bring upon the debt. Also, she divorced him while he was in prison; it's rather common, iirc. Lastly, for the university reunion, they had it in the story. Why would it be "A few days later"? That's not how reunions work. This is to account for those who come from far away to be reunited with their fellow alum. They can't just say "Hey, stay in town a few days, we'll hold it again!", ain't no way airlines and employers would just say "Oh, well, that's cool, we'll make it work when you're able to come in."

One thing I don't like about these stories (I mean specifically this one, and the multiple copy paste versions out there). The story is so one note, a big discord of "mine is bigger than thine yield, your life sucks I live better, ect". The protagonist always ends up with the bigger better mcguffin in the end. Can't there be a more realistic end?? Like the protagonist just being like "nope, it's a simple, boring life, but it is mine and I am happy". And at the end of the story it's like the count of Monte Cristo, the antagonists destroys himself because he envies the person who had less, but was a million times happier. You don't see that in stories, hell last one I saw remotely like that was again, the count of Monte Cristo, and the 80s movie "can't buy me love".

Taking money that isn't yours is not okay and you will go to jail for such a crime. But blaming others for your crime isn't good either. Own up to your own crime and stop talking bad about people you don't know. Mio was just as guilty as her husband because she spent the money he was taking from the company too.
