Love your video. Great info and very helpful. If I can make one small suggestion---- if you can print out the name of the iem on the screen, we can remember which iem you are talking about when you say the name of the iem quite quickly. For those of us who are not familiar with many of these iems, i would be helpful to see the names and the spelling!

Heya, I highly recommend starting with the cheapest recs, like the ZiiGaat Nuo, or the 7Hz Zero2. Play around with that cheap set, get used to it, and see how you feel about the hobby and IEMs then 🫡

Hey should I get Moondrop Lan? I ve bought EW200. Is there any differences? I must say ew200 midrange very thin. I am not basshead but the midrange on ew200 make me kinda disappointed.

When I bought ew200. I think when hearing Violin or cello would be great but actually its not. Female vocal are good but some song make female kinda unnatural. Its a dynamic driver. Should I burn it more. I just bought it for 1 week

any good recommendation for IEM with soundstage and detail? I have the EW200 the only thing that can be akward is how bright it can sound sometimes (Star Rail character skills destroys my enemies and my ears XD). Otherwise in the songs I hear are fine (rock, christian rock, powermetal, vocal focused like the hoyoverse songs) I really like the soundstage and detail of it and would like an IEM that can offer similar quality of them. I heard good things about the EPZ Q1 Pro (bass focused with soundstage and details) and TRN TA1 Max (details, soundstage, bass and decent amount of treble)

Stage is hard to come by in general, but Sonus or Lan would be less bright, good IEMs.

Waner is roughly in the same spot as the Wyvern, along with a whole lot of good budget IEMs, like KZ Castor Silver, KZ Castor Black, Kiwi Ears Forteza, KZ EDX Pro, TRN MT4 Pro, Tanchjim One, CCA CRA, Truthear Hola, Moondrop Chu II edit: you could argue Forteza being so much pricier doesn't deserve to be mentioned, and yes, price wise that's true :D

Can you help, headphones up to $50, main genre preferences are post-punk, post-rock, metalcore, shoegaze, various synth music. I prefer clean sound, I don’t really like bass and this boominess in sound. Listen from my phone and my kbear ks1 headphones, of course I use equalization, only from another kbear model, and in general it’s not bad, can I get something similar, with more resolution? CCA Rhapsody is the best of these, for bass, and that's also why for metal. The tuning switches allow to adjust the sound for different genres nicely, but it is a very bassy IEM 👍

@@Jaawaudio Awesome, i have the zero 2s, il pick up the rhapsody and see how i like them compared, i know they are big and i had trouble with comfortability with my Tin Hifi T3 plus', no issues with the zero 2 and i actually prefer the sound more on the zero 2s. im hoping i dont have that issue with the rhapsody, fingers crossed!

I listen to bass heavy genres like psytrance and some trance, edm, but also orchestral music as well as jpop and pop. I also mainly play fps games, but not competitively, though I do prefer to hear footsteps in them. Is there a budget iem (Also one under $200 CAD) that has clean/clear vocals, big or wide soundstage, good bass quality and quantity, and clean-slightly-sparkly treble? With good note weight and not too thin or harsh/sibilant, or too dark and recessed. I'm fine with a bit of warmth, but nothing too warm like qkz x hbb; maybe something half of that or less. I'm probably asking too much for the budget range of less than $50 CAD sorry 😓 I currently have the Kz D-Fi and Qkz x Hbb, and Final ZE3000 tws earbuds. *I've tried the Zero Red's, but found them... ehhhh... Except for the bass (with the impedence adapter). They were really safe sounding, but boring for me. Also, too big. They fit, but would slide out slowly with the included foam tips, comply foam tips, final type e tips. Nozzle was just too big for my ears and I returned them. I've also tried the MP145 and really liked it, but fit was a big issue and I returned it. The Treble though was a bit sibilant even with foam tips and also a bit shouty too. I could still take it, but feel fatigued after a while.

You could say this is relatively close to them, as far as my collection goes. Not inaccurate at all to think Sonus is #13. But also I'm talking preference, I do have a tierlist with two scoring systems, my preference, and then an overall score. The tierlist is in constant flux, so it won't reflect the current situation 1to1

Hi man, I really appreciate your videos. I mostly listen to rock, metal would I gain anything significant if I go for the Simgot ea500lm or Truthear Hexa over the 7hz sonus ? If possible I also want to use the iem for some competitive gaming (apex, valorant etc..) but I am going to be primarily be using it for listening to music. I'm really confused on what to buy although I'm leaning slightly towards the 7hz Sonus right now as it's the same price as the ew200 in my region.

Looking to get a new pair to replace my Wyvern, but I have a hard time picking between the Sonus and the Lan. People have recommended me the Sonus just for how neutral it is, but I'm planning to get the Lan because it has a recessed 2-pin connector (context: I've had an incident where my cable's pins got bent, fortunately I bent it back to shape and it still works perfectly fine but now the socket of my Wyvern's right unit is now loose beyond repair, so I'm leaning towards getting the Lan for its build plus its recessed connector should be able to make the cable more rigid) I wonder what I'll miss out on in terms of sound if I go for the Lan voer the Sonus.

Sonus to my ears sounds slightly more dynamic, slightly more presence in mids. Also a comfier set, to me Sonus is a small direct upgrade from Lan.

I understand why the KZ brand is ignored by reviewers because of their sketchy past and ridiculous marketing style,but , probably like you, I dwell in the budget realm of IEMs and more often than not, I reach for a KZ over all the other options I have. I've recently bought the KZ D-FI non tunable version, and the KZ EDC PRO. Both are outstanding budget offerings! And just fun to listen to, and that's what I'm after,of course 😊
