Her parents were going to get arrested that's why they were searching the house, was for her parents, but they had already fled the country to escape so they couldn't. Y/N lived with her friend because 1: she lived in fear that they would come back and finish her off and 2: she's still technically a minor and she can't live in that huge mansion alone. Also, the house isn't under her name so she can't sell it. Hope this helps!! (Btw I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending and I'm happy that you like this oneshot❤️❤️)

I do hesitate because i don't want to trigger people, but I do plan to make a oneshot where Y/N is autistic. It was requested by an autistic Cinnabon and I feel honored to make it.
