You have almost the exact same setup as me! I bought my 10x4 Water Bottle Pouch from Condor for £20. They are a better quality than the Japanese knock offs but still half the price of Maxpedition. Military 1st sell them on Amazon. I just replaced my plastic Nalgene with the looser fitting Stanley flask, and have been looking for a way to stop the damn thing rattling inside my Tatonka. So scrubbing pads it is then! Something I have that you don't, is the BushBox Stove. It's like the Firebox and The Emberlit, stainless steel plates that clip together. It packs very flat and light and I carry it in the front pouch on the water bottle (where you keep your spork). I swear by it. You can use hexy blocks, a Trangia or, if you run out of fuel, twigs. I think it's my most favourite bit of kit. Anyway, I can't fault your thinking (how could I?). Keep it up. Cheers.

I know, I just love it when things just fit together so nicely! It's a shame the Stanley bottle doesn't fit the tatonka mug well though, but a scourer and jay cloth keep it together just fine. The lid is kind of riveted on unfortunately, and not screwed. Not sure exactly how to remove them. It's probably only a matter of time until the plastic bit melts, but a metal d ring type fitting would work wonders for it! :(

Fantastic set up mate!...and what a result with that old kettle lid fitting so perfectly on the Tatonka mug! I have always thought to myself why someone didnt make a lid for it. Just a thought, how does the plastic handle fit to the lid? is it screwed in and could you do a mod to it to take it off and fashion a fold-able handle that lays flush with the top by using a split ring off an old keyring? Cheers and all the best!

Try the Stanley cook kit looks little taller than the Pathfinder and has a lid that will probably fit the Tatonka it's stainless and cost about $15-$20 U.S. with a fold out handle!

hey dodger nice gear where did you get the Stanley water bottle never seen them in the stores here in the states.

Per the stainless steel mugs - lids, if you contact Stanley Customer Service or parts, and order a lid for the Stanley Adventure Camp Cook Set, they will sell you just the lid, which happens to fit the mugs like they were made for it. That lid fits my GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Bottle Cup/Pot just fine and it's fairly inexpensive. But I don't have any idea about shipping them to UK.
