If I was going to buy one myself and price wasn't a factor. I would go with the Denali ultimate HD all blacked out. A 2500. It would be a throwback too in away too. The 2door blazer and a duramax. Then get the yellow ram in a year if your not loving the duramax. The Colorado zr2 also looks cool. I can't fit in much other than a full sized truck though at 6'9" and a couple or 3 supermodels of weight ,I'm also a full sized model. So I'm biased towards a full size truck. That's the order I'd get them in if i was going to be driving a lot of highway miles and towing. Denali all the way.

Personally I don’t mind the TRX at all, I love the interiors, they are comfy, I recently bought a Ram Built to Serve edition and the quality and ride where so much better for me than competition. However the Denali ultimate is pretty sick, I’d be interested to see you look into one at least

I have a 2020 Chevy Trail Boss with the 6.2. It has been a very reliable good looking truck.. Quick too. The tires suck, so I replaced with Mickey Thompsons. The Goodyear Duratracs cause too much internal cab noise. Mine is black with the Midnight package, 6 1/2' bed and tow mirrors. Perfect daily driver.

I miss the Old Street Speed 717. Things like mail time, modifying a Corvette and taking it to the Dyno, and not but not least modifying the Duramax such as big lifts and big tires. Its just the yellow body color. Came standard on the z06’s from that gen. I thought it was vinyl but yeah its almost a way of back lighting it😂

Dude that blazer can haul a corvette no problem, my dad had a 95 Dakota with 318 in it. I had a 96 chevy half ton with a 350 vortec. I hauled his Dakota and two old farmall tractors on a trailer with no problem. That 96 vortec was insane with 373 gears, so if the blazer lacks a lil power try changing gear ratio because u may have airplane gears

Mike, Nice somone else drives a lot...I put 52K on my TRX in 7 months, I have 2 and both are work trucks....I have a TRX Havoc on order...These trucks are so well built and unlike my Raptor that has had many issue these Rams have zero issues and the Reports show not much go wrong with them....Good luck with whatever you get but GM is scary with warranty coverage...

You said it yourself. The TRX can do everything. Off-road in Colorado, pull the vette, smoke the Altima next you etc. it would be a nice change for the duramax Denali ultimate. But ultimately you love the TRX and have a lot of memories in them.

I have a 2020 duramax at4 now with all options, I know you had the chevy, look at the changes to the interior to the 2024, they took some things out that didnt make sense, yeah you get big screens but the 2024 they take away chargers, they moved the trailer brake to the middle console, I hope you can get one and do a comparison.

I’d say go with the zr2. The denali exterior hasn’t really changed. There’s also not really anything you can do to them that makes them stand out, all the show trucks are just lifted but the body and front end is the exact same, same goes for the TRX. Zr2 has potential

I absolutely love the Colorado ZR2 Desert Boss in yellow but it is a long wait. If the yellow Trail Boss comes in soon I would definitely consider it unless you want to jump another brand new truck 🛻 lol 😆 but it has some upgraded off road goodies and would have a more old school basic feel and you can really upgrade it how you want it. Sierra for sure. Easier safer towing than the Colorado. Even though it can tow 7000 and your trailer is 6500 the Sierra could tow double that at least and feel rock solid. Being near the towing weight limit makes trucks drive wonky wears everything out super fast.

From my professional opinion, I think most new vehicles besides the corvette are junk, and yes I work on all makes and models daily. You want to be different and set yourself apart from others and drive something different. Then do an LT4 swap on the blazer and lift it with some 36-38” tires with a solid axle swap. If you really want something unique and cool. It would take a solid shop a couple weeks to do it and still quicker than waiting for a truck delivery, plus it would only cost you roughly 2/3 of the midsized trucks your looking at. I know your not afraid to spend money but if it’s unique your after that Blazer is the perfect platform for something really cool.
