For people who are on work permit and want to apply health card it the work should be minimum of 6 months full time or contract and you can apply it on day one. You dont have to wait for 6 months.

Mera case may 2018 me recieve hoi. medical august 2018 me hogya tha mgr mera abhi tak passport request nahi aya. Correction: On a work permit, the health benefit starts after the 3rd month. This is the rule in BC, not sure about other provinces.
