Senator Rennick, You have had a great couple of weeks in Canberra. The issues you raise are going to ripen in time. Your work on the Tax Reform issue is brilliant - that is going to ripen before all else I suspect because you are across that subject matter brilliantly. From the abandoned TLIP to ANTS to the Ralph Review and the Henry Review and every time they have touched it they have made it worse. The focus has been on political sound bites, and no good work has been done to address major structural reform that is long overdue. A great first couple of weeks for the new People First Party. Congratulations and thank you for your fine and competent advocacy on behalf of all Australian Citizens and Australia.

Duplication in State and Federal govts is a demented waste of money, getting the military involved in large infrastructure, both great ideas. Tax reform in Australia is desperately needed. The one that's really concerning me at present is the Mis and Dis information Bill, if we lose free speech, everything else follows.

This government loves to surround themselves with even more public servants, efficient work practices need to be pushed. It's better to have lot of parties in government, than to have the two ruling parties like we have, which have become complacent and corrupt, if giving $149 billion in gas away for virtually nothing isn't corruption then the word "corrupt" will need to be redefined, the government needs to be kept in check with more politicians in government independent of the ALP and LNP.
