Hi Scott, would you have to have a link to the Arri plate you use? The link has expired and I'm super keen to get a similar set up to yours.

Hello !! Could you please tell me where I could find the relocator cable you used for your Canon c200 compatible with the Grip that you suggested in this video? In the links you entered it is not present! Thanks

Hi !!! Beautiful video, could you just tell me where I can find the extension cable between the remote and the camera ? Thank you very much ;)))

Hi! I got mine from Zacuto. I'm not sure if they have it listed individually but if you contact them they should be able to set you up :) I think Shape sells one too.

Ok where do I or how do I order the custom Dreamrig ARRI plate? And I'd love to be able to mount this to my tripod using the same configuration you have here...could a mounting plate go underneath beside the shoulder pad perhaps.....then would be the perfect solution.

Hi! I'm not sure if they've actually made the Dreamrig ARRI plate available yet, I'd recommend you contact them through their facebook page and ask, that's what I did. However, to go quickly between shoulder and tripod and keep a fairly low profile, I'm thinking the VCT plate might be a bit more of an elegant solution and will probably try that out soon. To mount it on the tripod with this particular setup the simplest way is probably to put a standard ARRI plate on your tripod and you can move the C200 baseplate from the Dreamrig ARRI plate and slide it right back onto the ARRI plate on your tripod. It won't take the whole shoulder rig in that way, which is why the VCT plate might be a better solution. Putting a tripod plate next to the shoulder pad might work but it would be awkwardly unbalanced on your tripod probably. Also, I saw you had asked about the EVF- If you go with Smallrig parts, the top plate and part "2075" might be the best bet, but I really really like the Zacuto stuff. It's a bit expensive but really worth it if you use it on a shoulder rig very often. Some people use magic arms or some other setup, but Zacuto is far more practical in terms of use (not in terms of money haha) Hope that helps!

Sorry one last question, where can I find an extension cable for the grip?
@ScottDumas6 жыл бұрын
No problem! I got this cable from Zacuto as well, but I think Shape makes one too. They're around the same price though so either is probably fine. I'm not sure that Zacuto lists it on their page by itself though so if you want it from them just send them an email and they can get you set up.

Hey Scott! Will the shoulder pad not screw in from the top of the regular dovetail plate? Looks like there's enough clearance for the baseplate to slide over. Or do you mean typical 1/4-20 screws won't be long enough?
@ScottDumas6 жыл бұрын
Hi! The problem with the regular dovetail is there's no inset groove for the head of the screw and that will block the center of the dovetail on the C200 baseplate. The one here has a space inset for the screw head so it doesn't stick out and get in the way like that.

What's the zacuto part to mount the C200 Lcd?
@ScottDumas6 жыл бұрын
There are a few parts, depending on how you want it to be mounted, I'm using it here with the recoil handle attached to the C200 top plate (also from Zacuto) the axis mini and rosette mount for the z-finder. I'll have a video going over this and some other setups very soon :)

I repeat: Headline: Canon C200 shoulder rig… wtf is the C200??? It is just a rig shown!!
@ScottDumas6 жыл бұрын
Lol, sorry about that- I tried to include pictures but was filming on the C200 so can't show it in the talking head section. Figured it would be alright since I was mainly talking about the rig, so that plus photos ...anyway, sorry for the misleading title!
