That's pretty standard nowadays. Cost of materials are through the roof post covid. For an entire respray, sanding, at least two layers of clearcoat, part removal and reinstall, other prep work, labor cost, etc.

@@Sector_209​​⁠I have no doubt you can find business that would be more than happy to charge those prices, but $9k-$10k for a paint job for a 10 year old Kia is definitely not across the board pricing. When talking to Hazel later in the call the guy even acknowledged that he had one quote for $3,000.
