I am becoming to believe that Pennsylvania has some of the best auctions in the country! I enjoyed the auctioneer in this particular auction because I could actually understand him! I absolutely love old marbles & have quite a few from my grandfather’s collection. I have a lot of them displayed in an old gumball machine. My grandson loves to shine my black light flashlight on them because so many of them glow! Anyway, as always, thank you for sharing, Karen❤

Hi You two are a hoot! I have a story I went to this auction and was SO overwhelmed lots of stuff confusion and wanting to be in two or three places at once to bid?! Then I saw some one from the auction throwing stuff into the trash and it was perfectly good art supplies I am a professional scenic artist (besides a reseller) it made me want to cry I was looking in pulling things out trying to decide if I could ask someone or just take it out of trash and two other resellers walked by saying ugly things like a thief selling at an auction has bad karma headed my way and if I wanted it I should have bought it…… I was so upset I haven’t been back…. Paint supplies in the landfill someone at the auction could at least start a donate box that would have helped a school or daycare so much!!!!

I have sold many vintage Butter Bells in my Etsy shop. The instructions say to put water in the bottom of the crock and to put the butter in the bell shape in the lid. The water covers the exposed butter. You keep it at room temp so the butter is spreadable. I’ve heard them referred to as Butter Bells and Butter Keepers😊

My grandmother had a tree table like that but the base is altogether and I think part of the root system. The cracks are filled with beautiful colored stones then a resin poured over them to fill the cracks. My daughter has the table now. Grandma wanted her to have it when she went into a nursing home. You would have loved her home. It was actually a MCM home. At one time featured in our local newspaper. She was a licensed interior designer. My daughter has most of her very valuable pieces. My sister got a lot also but it just wasn’t really my style, However I can appreciate its beauty and value.

Hello,Karen! I’ve been watching you for awhile now and love your videos. I’ve learned a lot about thrifting and it has made me realize it is worth checking my Goodwill before purchasing an item at full retail, especially if the item is a want more than a need. 😉 When I watch you at Goodwill, it sounds like they have a color of the day that’s marked 50% off. I am finding that in my area of the twin cities, our Goodwills have the color code only one day a week. Is there a daily code in your area? You also seem to have much more and much nicer merchandise than I’m seeing in the Goodwill stores near me. I’ll keep looking for other stores and thrift shops since learning that some stores are definitely nicer than others. My best to you and Roger. Very happy for you both!

I was very disappointed in one of the lots practically every single item was chipped and or had crazing ... the condition was not noted in the listing . I doubt I'll bid on anything again from that auction company very disappointed and I spent over 60 dollars. I would prefer that they had a place I could actually touch the items and see them in person before I buy .
