She also have problem with crystals in her bloder, so I can't understand when she's acting like that because of health problem or just hormones. I'm a mother of 1.5 years old baby girl and pregnant. Hi there. My male cat is 6 years old and he used to spray everywhere cause we had multiple male cats at home. But now i have moved to another place where there’s no other cat only him. I trained him by keeping him in my bathroom with a small pedestal fan and his litter box. Now he’s trained it took me around 20 days. And now he doesn’t pee anywhere other than his box.

I have 2 female cats that are 3 yrs old. One is good and the other bad. She pee's everyday if not every other day outside the liter box, on the kitchen floor and this morning on the kitchen table. They were both spayed at 7 months. I clean 2 liter boxes twice a day and change out the old liter with new liter every two weeks. I’m not sure if anyone is active in this comment section anymore. I have a female cat. She was a street cat and about a few months old when she was given to me (not old enough to go into heat but not terribly young either). She would pee sometimes outside of the litter box in my old room. Obviously because of nervousness and stress that comes with a new environment, first time having an owner, and meeting an older cat (my other cat is around 5 years old, she’s never had an litter issues). We moved into a new house and she keeps peeing everywhere. At first, I thought it was because of a new house but it’s been almost a year since we’ve been here and she won’t stop. When I leave for work (5 hour shift keep in mind), she will pee on my blankets. She peed on a dish that holds my jewelry. She peed on my laptop. She peed on the hammock of her and my other cats tower so often, I had to cut the hammock down and throw it away. Yesterday, I took off my socks and put them on the floor for five minutes and she peed on them. I even had to put up my laundry basket because she’d jump in it and pee in it. I’ve put my things up but she keeps finding new things to pee on. I’ve even got a pheromone diffuser that’s supposed to help with anxiety and urine marking in cats but it doesn’t seem to work too well (although the four thousand reviews say it helped their cats). I don’t want to give her away but I don’t know what to do. She’s also been scratching and tearing up my carpet. I’m gonna have to pay the damages when we move out. I seriously do not know what to do. She pees everywhere. I can’t trust her to be without me in a room for even thirty minutes. It’s gotten to the point where I have to put her in a cage whenever I shower because I simply cannot trust her not to pee. I clean their litter everyday. I don’t know what to do.

I’m afraid I don’t know the perfect solution but I do on that other hand have a suggestion! Dedicate a small section of your room, and make it like a relatively medium size cage which basically houses your cat’s water, food, litter box and a small sleep area. Put your cat inside it. Make sure that it’s not too big, nor too small. Obviously it shouldn’t extremely small for your cat since that can cause anxiety, stress and dissatisfaction. But it shouldn’t be so big so that your cat can run around and pee everywhere. Keep here for a few days inside, and try to observe her behaviour, I believe that gradually she’ll find it more comfortable to pee in the litter box providing her cage isn’t way too big as mentioned… When she uses her litter box, give her a treat. If she starts using the litter box correctly in her small temporary area, let her keep using it in there for a few weeks until she is totally used to it. Then you can release her back outside and see if this helped. Good luck.

pheew , By reading all the comments, it's sure we're on the same boat. Me and my girl are tired of them peeing everywhere . Last night was on the freaking stove . We do not know what to do. they're inside cats. one is nearly 10 years old We do not know what to do at this point, I just bought new shoes for me and they peed on them . they soaked all night with their urine and what's worse is that the stench isn't going away :'v I washed them twice and let them dry for days ... for all cat lovers, giving up on them ... and giving them away... for all that it costs we can't be that selfish, knowing how the world treats cats . letting them out is just cruel for them. they do not have natural habitat anymore. that is why in first place I've adopted . that's a way at least to help one or 5 cats quality of life in the time they're in this world. sometimes we will not be able to fix that . just do not throw them away.

Unfortunately cats dont care to please you so much as dogs . They dont train well … fixing and cleaning litter , health check is all you can do . People think dogs are more difficult but I never had this problem with dogs - foxed or unfixed. My roommate has cats and his youngest started marking around house . Its really gross and he is constantly cleaning . I hide in my room more with my dog . He just had hip surgery and has hard time with this cat . Fixing him seemed to increase his marking . Im constantly complaining of nasty smells so it stressful for him . I told him to put him out if he cant control him . He feeds some outside too . Its a stinking mess inside now . This particular cat is more aggressive and wild natured . Maybe he would be much happier( and me) if he went back there ! 😂 trying to be patient but Im not Mother Theresa

Got cat from a friend of friend said cat 6mon, had all shots, indoor cat. Got beautiful cat, after a week started going crazy 2 go outside. We got our cat from he SPCA almost 3 years ago. we were told he has issues. We were told he might poop outside the box but they didnt mention pee! Going to a vet is not helpful. We took him to about a year and a half ago. The vet checked him out, and it cost over $300 and no solution. She said she would check some other things out and get back to me, i m still waiting! We have a nice home and this butthead is being disrespectful to us and our house! He not only poops outside the box but he also pees at the front door! i can smell pee in other areas, we have hardwood floors and i can smell on them too. i m so close to getting rid of him! He is not what i had in mind when i wanted to get a cat! i even contacted a foundation that accepts cats, but no reply after a week. it feels like no gives a crap as they r not the ones experiencing the issues we have with him. Unfortunately if we dont get some help, he will b the one to pay the price. it saddens me to think we might have to put him to sleep but i m fed up with the smell and the mess! i dont think any animal is worth that kind of sacrifice! his box is cleaned EVERY day without fail. he is only animal we have, no kids, and yet he is still not satisfied! have tried the pheromone thing too, that was a big waste of money! BTW he is 6 years old! i m thinking he wont stop!
