For editing sound have you ever considered splitting the video and audio feed and running the audio through Digital EQ or Multiband in a DAW? You could probably get rid of most wind/stream noises this way while allowing room for vocals to breathe.

Sorry, there will not be a Thomas and Friends Christmas Special this year. Due to my eye surgery I have not been able to work out in the garden and now it's too wet to do anything. I'm making plans to film a special for next Christmas.
