My CFA Level 3 Exam Experience

If you have or are studying for a CFA exam, what's your favorite topic(s)?😃 It's probably Equities and Alternative Investments for me... Derivatives is definitely my least favorite, it's so tough😅

For me my favourite is Quantitative Analysis because i’m familiar with the math so it’s easy :) my least favourite so far is definitely fixed income! Ethics might become the worst, we’ll see when i finish the rest of the topics :)

Studying for CFA while being extremely busy at work is definitely a challenge, especially for the later levels. I am about to do my level 1 and I already extremely paranoid when I lose study time because I need to do more at work. Well done to you 👏

Congratulations! I am studying for the level 1 August attempt. So far I've gone through 7 subjects, 3 more to go. I plan to start revising all the subjects in early April. So far my most minor favorite topics are Derivatives, Fixed Income and a bit of FSA too :'(

Same here brother. I have less than 30 days left and scored 36, 44, and 50 in my kaplan mocks. I'm so tired and depressed that I'm sleeping a lot. Idk if I want to continue anymore

@@magnificencetv7424 Keep at it man - final stretch! I’ve heard that Kaplan mocks are intentionally more difficult, so low scores may not mean much

@@pinBin25 from my level 2 experience. kaplan mocks were just as similar as the actual exam. idk about level 3. it's my first time doing level 3. i'm so lost in FI and derivatives, especially currency management. i'm also not getting simple stuff like stating investment objectives for institutions. i'm really depressed and don't know what to do anymore. i dont have time at all because of sleeping a lot past 2 weeks. in level 2 i was getting 64-65% as average scores in mocks, i even got 73% once. in level 3, it's pure hell. i'm even being a little kind to myself in the grading but not too kind. i think if i was harsh my 3rd mock would've been close to 45%. and the mocks are such bullshet. i mean 4 damn cases of FI. FOUR! are you kidding me. and 3 cases of derivatives!! HOW?? it's max 10% how even 3 cases?!! idk man. i'm really weak at FI and derivatives and also kind of weak in PWM. wbu, share your preparetion with me so i know i'm not alone and depressed. send me some positivity and thanks again

Are Materials Provide after completing the CFA registration, enough to pass the CFA exam? Or i have to follow some other source As well at the same time?

I only used the free resources that are provided to you when you sign up for a CFA exam, and that was enough for me :) I definitely recommend checking out CFA's free learning ecosystem after signing up for an exam to see if you like it before purchasing additional materials
