Hey Pam I did the same thing for my rug and was so frustrated. So what I did for my next rug was rent a carpet cleaning machine from home depot and it did the work.

Phewwwww, well doneee I had to sleep train my son at 6 months cause I wasn't getting any sleep. We did the ferber method. It took 5 days. He sleeps so well now( no regrets at all but it wasn't easy sha)
