My Chapter, Co-op: Ali Steele

A Co-op offers unique experience in that students are able to stay with a company longer, which allows time to learn about company culture and industry.
Ali Steele has found that to be the case, spending a year with DePuy Synthes.
"All the industry fields are so wide and varied that Co-op has really given me a deep dive in an industry field," said Steele, a biomedical engineering major, "and it happens that I absolutely love it."
Steele said the biggest skill she's learning is communication, specifically how to explain "a very technical situation to somebody that has no technical background."
