My CHEAP Fox Body Mustang GT is the LOUDEST car EVER - Cheap Car Challenge

Jakub's $5000 1987 Ford Mustang GT from TheStraightPipes CHEAP car challenge. We bought two cheap cool cars with a maximum budget of $5000 each. Yuri bought a 1994 Honda Civic for $3000 with a load of problems, and Jakub bought a $5000 1987 Ford Mustang GT Foxbody with even more problems. In future videos, we will take them on a road trip and take them to the race track. LOVE the sound that Mustang makes! It has to be one of the best sounding engines on the channel! I look forward to all of your Top Gear-esque challenges! These cars are prime examples of the reputations Ford and Honda have for the quality of their vehicles. Ford is loud and exciting but many things will break or fall off over time, but with Honda you have something very sensible and something you can depend on to keep working over time. This has been a fun series so far, and I’m excited for what else you’ll do with these cars! Also, I don’t care how much “inspiration” you take from Top Gear, because they had amazingly entertaining challenges and they’re absolutely worth imitating. It’s amazing how similar your videos can be to Top Gear, but with a MUCH smaller budget! Great job, guys! I’m excited for where your channel is headed; it’s clearly headed to glory!

This made me LOL. I had an ‘85 Mustang GT so I guess that puts me on Team Mustang. It was my daily driver when I got out of school and had no $$. Even drove it in the winter and got stuck at my corner in 5cm of snow 😂😂. It was extremely frightening to drive but thrilling at the same time. Sounded like monster. It burned oil and the best was when the shift lever linkage snapped half way up the Garden City Skyway. Good times! Hope you guys have a great time with this!

Im loving the stang. Back when I had my 88GT I had a very similar exhaust setup. I ran shorty headers, catless H-pipe with flowmaster 40 series mufflers turned down before the diff. That car was a 331 stroker and SCREAMED.

Watching this makes me feel so good about buying my 89 LX for $4800 last summer. The only issue I had was that that it got stuck in reverse, which was a known issue. Trans rebuilt, and it’s good as new.
